Classroom session, instructor-led T; 6pm-9:30pm Students meet with the instructor each week to review and discuss each week's lessons, assignments, and projects. The instructor prepares students to pass the final exam and meet the certification requirements.

LWPI offers in-class sessions for those looking to get started in the wedding and event industry right away. Classroom students fulfill all course requirements AND prepare for the certificate exam. In-class sessions not only allow for instructor interaction, but also new perspectives and insider information from others in the industry attending who bring advice, insight, and experience to group discussions. Courses are taught by seasoned wedding and event professionals.

Corporate events span all industries and are planned for a variety of occasions and celebrations. Corporations and their employees celebrate many milestones and accomplishments within the life span of the growth and evolution of its people, products, and successes.
 
Corporate events may range from a new product launch to a retirement dinner.  This course will cover the many types of corporate events.
 
More specifically it will provide a detailed guideline on how to design the event, plan the event, set budgets, execute successfully, review performances, and charge for services.
 
The CEP course is known as S-M-A-R-T and covers:
 
- Special Events: galas, fundraisers, public relations, product promotions
- Meetings: professional, corporate, business networking
- Assemblies: conferences, conventions
- Recognition: incentives, awards, achievements
- Training: seminars, workshops, education
 
Tuition includes eTextbook & curriculum, student center and certificate.

Please note, campus classes are a hybrid of in-class and online learning. The time spent in class will consist of lectures from your instructor, activities, live demonstrations, and words from guest speakers.

All assignments, projects, quizzes and exams are submitted online. You will need access to a computer or tablet with internet access. Assignments and projects are often done in Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint so basic computer skills are required.
