Hello everyone, my name is Lauren Heinfeld, and I am excited to gain wisdom and insight from this class.  I currently reside in Richland Hills, Texas, with my husband, Zack, and our cute Miniature Pinscher, Dulce.  I am an Event Planner for the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention working with camps, conferences, retreats, and meetings. Formerly, I was a Spanish Teacher in Waco and Edna.  With this course, I'm hoping to learn more of the wedding planning side to further my knowledge of different kinds of events.

Coming into this class with foreknowledge of event planning, I was excited for the challenge of a 10-week course that required me to step out of my comfort zone and time manage even more so than I already do for my job.  This project has been very intriguing and insightful to help grow my business, as I've researched and committed to learning a plethora of resources.  I'm hoping to use this project as an opportunity in the future to showcase my knowledge and competency.

The vision I'm presenting is one that encapsulates an elegant, outdoorsy, yet fun experience for anyone involved.  Rose and gold are the primary colors, and there will be unique elements added to represent the personalities of both the bride and the groom.  The decor and atmosphere of the wedding will be quite distinct and glitzy.
