CWEP Project 2

Posted By Kathia Martinez, Saturday, June 1, 2019

Hello My name is Kathia Martinez.

I love planning events and helping people.  I have a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Administration mention Marketing of University Apec from the Dominican Republic.  After graduating in 2012, I started working in the hotel industry. In 2015 I started working as an event coordinator and it was the place where I confirmed my love for events. I live now in New York City and I found Lovegivity  University in my search to get certified as an event planner. I'm always in constant training to give the best to my clients.

I love to get involved in every detail of events and enjoy seeing them come  to life after months or even days (depend type of events) of preparations. My favorite moments of an event is when our clients  see their space ready just prior to guest arrival. Although I am new to the industry, I have been planning all my life. I have planned and worked  for my friends and family plan and execute their events (Birthdays, baby showers).

Project two

Posted By Janice Alphonso, Sunday, August 12, 2018

Good evening!,

My name is Janice Alphonso and I am studying to become a certified wedding planner.  The second project is designed to sell the services that my business offers to potential brides through words and description.  I had to really think what I want my business to represent and accomplish after I meet with a potential client. I described the company and outlined the  packages, "Day of Contract", pricing, cancelation policy, as well as possible worksheets a bride can use along her magical journey to wedded bliss.

Thank you

CWEP - Project 2 Submission

Posted By Ghislaine van de Laarschot, Sunday, April 22, 2018

My name is Ghislaine, I am 25 years old and I am located in Boston, MA.

This assignment made me think long and hard about how I want to present myself to a client and how to not undervalue myself. Overall, I think I did a pretty good job in pricing with a little help from the online discussion about How to sell my services at value. As women we tend to undervalue ourselves when it comes to pricing/getting paid so this was a really great exercise. It was also good to organize everything into a cohesive document thats easy to read.

Cwep project 2

Posted By Kavia Garayua, Saturday, November 11, 2017
Hi. My name is Kavia Garayua. I am 21 and from New York. My goal is to become the next David Tutera. I have been inspired by him since he first started his show. He has showed all the amazing qualities he has to offer. And i hope to be like that in the future. I want to become the talk of the town. Professionals get places with word of mouth. My class is amazing. I love everything about the class and especially because we get guest speakers which is amazing. This project was a little tricky with the pricing. I wanted to be different then other planners so thats hard. I was low in the beginning and worked my way up with the pricing. I offer different packages and different offers like engagement party ideas.

Project 2: Selling Your Services

Posted By Cheric Vigeant, Saturday, August 19, 2017
Hi my name is Cheric Vigeant. I had a lot of fun doing Project 2. I've learned a lot while creating this project and have created a style I feel for my brand. It was a lot of work and hours but in the end glad I did it and learned that it's always a good idea to save everything to reference back to. I am very happy that I learned how to "sell my services" to prospective clients. It makes me happy knowing that my job is to create someones vision to life. Being able to use my creativeness is what started my passion for planning.

Was very interesting, I had learned a lot in some things I didn't realize before as I don't have any experience doing Weddings and their packages.

Starting your own business

Posted By Julie Shaw, Monday, July 11, 2016

Hello Community

I also wanted to get more insight on the chapters where you start to create your own business. Whether you are going through it now or if you have used this class as a launch pad. How has this course helped you? Maybe if you can suggest the Top 5-10 things that are crucial to starting your business and any advice that you can supply. Even how long did it take you. How flexible are your hours? Do you love what you do? What motivated you to get into this business?

Project #2: Selling Your Services

Posted By Keitra L. Brooks (Murphy), Friday, April 8, 2016
This project was very helpful to learn and understand how to build my business. Some of the items I had already been using, but there were so many that I had to create!  It also helped me to understand how to better approach my clients and what information I need to provide them as their Wedding/Event planner. I can't wait to start using these tools in my business!
