I just hosted my first Wedding Planning on Wheels Tour as suggested in our curriculum. As a result of using the marketing strategies listed in our course work, as well as other strategies, my event was a success AND made the FRONT PAGE of the Business Section in our local paper! This led to immediate interest and contact from wedding-relevant vendors in my community wanting to find out how they can participate in the tour (and partner with my company in the future), as well as warranted a phone call from one of our local Chamber of Commerce organizations requesting that I immediately become a member!
The tour was held last Sunday, November 4th! All of our vendors were so excited to be a part of the tour... they far exceeded my expectations with the level to which they participated! Each vendor prepared a verbal presentation of their services to the 4 couples we selected at a local Bridal Fair. Then, each vendor showered our participants with incredible gifts to take home with them! By the end of the day, our participating couples were juggling the many quality gifts in their arms, smiling and excited about the creative wedding process!
Thank you to this course for inspiring such a successful event! I am excited to continue building my business using the tools and inspirations I've received from this course!
