CWEP Project 1

Hello Everyone, my name is Tiffany Burke. I have recently graduated from college with a Business Administrations degree. I am currently in the process of soon receiving this certification for this course. Soon I will be trying to start my wedding planning business on the side and networking in the upcoming NM Wedding Expo in the fall. My goal for this year is to start my wedding planning/ design business and try to complete 5 weddings/event before the end of this year. I am so grateful for this course. I've gotten more out of this class than any other classes I've taken in college. I really enjoy all of the online discussions and all the website that has been provided in trying to start up a business. I can't wait to take other courses that is provided by LWPI in the fututre and hope one day I get to be a LWPI guest speaker in the future to help other wedding planners lord willing if I am successful enough! This project definitely helped me get an idea of all the info and questions I would ever have to ask a bridal couple and vendors. This has definitely helped me prepare for what I really need to do in the future.

The wedding theme for this project will be a white fairytale garden wedding that will take place on a summer afternoon and night. The wedding will be held in a romantic setting at the Botanic Gardens in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My bridal couple, Dimitri and Stephanie, takes their love for nature, animals, fine dining and dressing up  for fancy events and use it to make a memorable wedding where guests would feel like they walked into a high garden  fairytale wedding with animals of all shape and sizes are present and in harmony. To enchant the atmosphere and mood of not only the ceremony but also the reception, there will be high white floral walls covered with thousands of blush, cream, and white roses and peonies flowers; along with high statement floral structures and centerpieces near the guest tables. With four large tents casted in the middle of the Botanic garden, there will be white Victorian furniture, statement pieces, and arrangements will be draped and roofed with white linen from the tent. To further enhance the look and feel of the fairytale garden, large crystal chandeliers with white iris flowers will drip over the whole entire space of the reception and a trail of candles lining a walkway from the reception area to the bridge; there will be candles floating on the lake to mirror the stars in the dark clear sky.

The first link is to my prezi for project 3 and the second link is to my business website. I used prezi to establish my grand opening because they had a really cool newspaper template that I thought was perfect for this project. I put my press release, bio, and the A6s in my project. The template also allowed me to add pictures so I could incorporate everything I needed for my project. I felt great doing this last project because I felt like I was actually ready to show my business off and start planning!

CWEP Project 2

I have uploaded a file for viewing my second project. I used a brochure format for this project since this project was more for selling my services for clients. I also found the brochure format a great way to incorporate pictures into this project. I have a love for flowers so that is why I named my packages the way I did. I also really love the color purple, hence why the color scheme is purple.

The website above is the link to my Project 1. My project is actually based off of the wedding that I am currently planning for myself. A lot of the ideas and color schemes are what I want and most likely will use for my own wedding. I had a lot of fun creating this project and it gave me so many great ideas.

This project was designed for an adventurous couple who desired an underwater ceremony in Maui, Hawaii in May. They want an informal beach reception with close friends and family. Their color story consists of neutrals with subtle hints of bright tropical.

The vision for this wedding is romantic and whimsical. The color scheme consists of many shades of pink , including blush pink, with touches of white, mauve, rose gold and yellow gold. It is simple yet elegant.

This project was both intimidating and rewarding.  My imaginary couple is going for a classic Hollywood/Gatsby feel.  They chose gold, black and.

white. Outdoor ceremony and indoor reception in late October 2017.

My experience as a student of Lovegevity’s Wedding Planning Institute 18.6

Posted By Tiffany Burke, Monday, April 3, 2017

My name is Tiffany Burke, and my experience as a student of Lovegevity’s Wedding Planning Institute has been absolutely remarkable. When I was around 9 years old, I established that becoming a wedding planner/designer or fashion designer would be be dream job. It hasn't changed since, and being able to sign up and take this course, validated to me that this is definitely my calling. I have done three small weddings to start up my portfolio. Even though I haven't started my business just yet, I have been networking and meeting with vendors and making connections to get myself recognized in the industry. I have learned so many new valuable tips and ideas on how to properly execute a successful wedding. This course has definitely given me the push and motivation I need to put myself out there in this industry and hopefully soon become as big Karen Tran, Preston Baily, and David Tutera. I cant wait to see what's in store for my future in this industry. I thank you Lovegevity from the bottom of my heart for providing such an informative and well planned/educated course. I hope I get to come back and take some of the other courses that you are providing in the future. Your course is way better than any of the college courses I have ever taken in my life. Many thank you's!!!!!

CWEP Project 1

My CWEP Project 1 is a mood board that consists of my vision of Aiyla and Demitri's desire for an elegant evening under the canopy of weeping willows and old oak trees for their January wedding celebration. Crystal chandeliers execute a sense of grandeur and the tea light candle filled glass orbs illuminate an understated golden, romantic ambiance while hanging from the canopy above. The ruffled cocktail tables reveal a soft glow, while sequined royal tables sparkle glamorously, offering rich detail along with the shimmering mini champagne bottle favors, metallic rimmed flutes, and the bride's Italian-inspired gown.

CWEP Project 1

To me, weddings are a symbol of two people coming together, bringing traditions, cultures, and ideas into one.  The couple blended the classic western wedding with Korean traditions by trading in their gown and tux  for traditional hanbok wedding attire in a second Korean wedding ceremony. Blending each other's backgrounds highlights the unity a wedding brings.

Weddings alone are whimsical. The fairy theme adds to the magic of being in love and adjoining togetherness. The beauty of nature and being surrounded by everyone you love and cherish allows for that special moment, which will be remembered forever. I have always loved fairy tales and the smiles that they bring both children and adults. May the magic of matrimony continue forever, as fairytales do.

Project 2

This project was a lot faster to put together than the first. I just got a MacBook and had a grand ole time trying to figure out how to use pages after using Microsoft my entire life!! Once I got used to it though Pages was so much easier to use. Minus that minor setback I really enjoyed this project and am grateful for the opportunity to learn how to use my MacBook.

Project 1

Posted By Tammy Lam, Sunday, April 2, 2017

This first project was very intimidating because I really did not know what to do. There were so many options on Pinterest to choose from and the first thing that popped up into mind is a fall themed wedding. This project was very time consuming and requires a lot of research, especially when you want to find something unique. I had fun doing this project but at times, confused.

CWEP Project 3

Projet 3 was less intimidating, I've decided to stick to something I am very comfortable with, which is the planning of a Festival. I am planning my 2nd annual festival this year, and what a great opportunity to incorporate my grand opening.  This project gave me a lot of ideas on how to bring more people to the festival, and one main one is, a bridal show, so why not have a 3 in 1 event. Some of the pictures used in this project are real pictures from my Last festival hosted last year. I hope the images tells my story and that you are inspired by  it. My website is built, butnotyet published, i am currently working on the content.
