At The End Of The Road

Posted By Lawuana Green, Wednesday, March 29, 2017

My experience with Lovegevity Institute has been challenging, yet fun to be apart.  It's hard getting back into the swing of education, research, and thinking out the box. Once you have been a stay at home mother for years. I've learned you have to have patience with learning to do each assignment and my biggest thing was to learn how to be involved with social media and blog. The eight weeks went really fast and as I got comfortable with Lovegevity  the class was over and I was wishing for more time to go back and maybe do some assignments over because now at the end everything is coming together.  I hope everyone found this Wedding and Event class to be exciting and challenging.

Sincerely,

Lawuana Green

Project 1 - Plan a Social Event or Wedding

Posted By Monica Lopez, Wednesday, March 29, 2017
It was very exciting putting Project 1 together! I enjoyed gathering all the pictures and telling the story. Putting the timeline was very time consuming but definitely learned a lot. The musical timeline was incorporated in my timeline and it was a great way to see the flow. I hope my sister likes what I came up with, for her and her fiancé.

18.6 It's been a blast!

Posted By Annabel Nygaard-Knaub, Tuesday, March 28, 2017
These nine weeks sure have blew past! It has been a pleasure working alongside all of you and getting to know all of your goals. I am excited to know a few of your businesses will be in my own backyard and look forward to your continued success. Starting this class myself, I was hesitant on opening my own business. But I would like each of you to know, it was your continued excitement and over all positive attitudes that kept, me, in high spirits oh those cold February evenings. For those of you that may have missed it, my introduction to this industry was a little backward. I have spent the last twelve years or so laboring in high volume, high functioning corporate restaurants. Having helped planned events there and my own wedding in 2009, I fell for planning, hard. 2017, gave me a chance to take some time off and do a little reevaluating of the quality of life I want for my husband and I. Signing up for LWPI was probably one of the best decisions I have made for myself in a long time. Ida Mae Events and Celebrations is born!! Named for my late mother, Ida Mae Events and Celebrations focuses on three simple priorities client satisfaction, support of local, reputable businesses and providing every client with friendly, upbeat and licensed planners. We've done it! Congratulations  class of spring 2017! -Annabel Knaub CWEP

Project 2: Selling Your Services

Posted By Lauren Grzymala, Tuesday, March 28, 2017

Hello Everyone!

My name is Lauren Grzymala, and I am the owner and creator of Grzymala Galas, a full-service event planning business in south-central and central Pennsylvania. I discovered my passion for wedding and event planning after planning several events for family and friends, including my own wedding, and I have never once second-guessed this career path I have chosen. I have thoroughly enjoyed every assignment this course has brought me because it gives me the opportunity to learn something new and be completely transparent with myself about the future I am creating for myself and my family. This project in particular really made me think about how I was going to construct and succeed in building my business, a task that I otherwise would not have been made to do without the guidance of LWPI. If there is one thing I can commend this program on, it is teaching its students the ins and outs of creating a business from legal standpoints, to business tactics, and even the most basic required knowledge of the field.

This project is the dialogue of the structure of my business, and the basic guidelines of how the business will be run. It is hard to put into words the pride and confidence I feel in my decision to create my own brand, but this project was a huge driving force for me, and it put things into reality for me of how close I am to achieving my dream.

(Side note: The logo posted with this project is a very basic one, and there is a fabulous NEW logo in the works with a local graphic designer!)

Until next time...Happy Planning!!

Lovegevity Experience

Posted By Yvette M. Pacheco, Monday, March 27, 2017
Its hard to explain the experience with this Lovegevity course. I have absolutely loved every minute of it. This course has both sent me in the right direction and scared me at the same time. It has also taught me everything I want for my business and how I should properly brand for it as well. It has challenged me to think about how I want to set up my documents and how I should operate my business. This course was amazing and exactly what I needed to get my business off on the right foot.

CWEP Project 3 - A Divine Affair

Posted By Nicole Foley, Monday, March 27, 2017

Project 3 is finally finished and it feels so good to see what putting together a wedding and events planning company can really look like! My company is called A Divine Affair and for my grand opening I have coordinated a philanthropic event focused on raising money for the treatment of AMPS disease. I have researched the disease and based my project on how to incorporate the health of the children affected by it and helping them have fun. I've laid out the entire grand opening using the A6 production on my new website: https://nikkifoley91.wixsite.com/adivineaffair/thank-you

Go ahead and connect to my social media through it as well!

check out my grand opening today. I also have information and pictures of the past events that I have actually coordinated. I'd love for everybody to see it and let me know what they think. Thanks everyone!

CWEP Project #1

Posted By Kimberly Cleveland, Sunday, March 26, 2017

I am submitting the mood board for my A8 project 1. I put this mood board together for Kate & Ryan’s September wedding in 2018. They both work in the arts and dreamt of an old Hollywood art deco theme. After meeting Kate & Ryan I see that they are not only creative, but very professional and trendy. I chose to put a modern twist on the old Hollywood glam look and feel with a hint of sparkle, simple flowers and elegant lighting. So far this project has been so much fun. I’m very detailed and love that I can express it here!

CWEP Project 1

Posted By Rhona Leary (Rodriguez), Sunday, March 26, 2017
This project is based on Alejandro & Alexandria's future wedding during the Spring of 2019.  They choose a very minimal but green wedding theme because they're both very in love with nature and the simple things in life. I chose to keep it very minimal with clean lines but a lot of green accents to highlight the outdoor, tropical beach setting their wedding will take place at. I liked doing this assignment because I also have a green thumb and can appreciate their love for nature.
