Updated: Sunday, April 23, 2017

I am Evelyn Querales Pereira, I am really excited for participate in this course, because I will learn a lot about market, culture, stylesstrategies, and more details about the American wedding.

This experience was important for me, because I discover new oportunities for developing my career in Miami, and I could create new alliances with vendors and others for better relationships.

The course is very good and intense, for that reason, I recommend it.

Thanks for everything Lovegevity University.

CWEP Project 1 - Aiylah & Demitri's Wedding Celebration

Posted By Yajaira Acevedo, Sunday, April 23, 2017
http://www.lovegevity.university/blogpost/375804/273779/CWEP-Project-1--Aiylah--Demitri-s-Wedding-Celebration

Aiylah and Demitri decided to marry on January 1, 2018 as they would like to celebrate their wedding and anniversaries starting a new year, as it's a joyous day that many all over the USA celebrate while looking forward to new beginnings and what's to come. They expressed their desire for an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception in South Florida during cool temperatures, under the open sky, and while being surround by nature. They both share a passion for food and fun, so it is important these elements will be melded together with an elegant celebration.

My CWEP Project 1 is my vision of their desire for an elegant evening under the canopy of weeping willows and old oak trees for their January wedding celebration. Crystal chandeliers execute a sense of grandeur and the tea light candle filled glass orbs illuminate an understated golden, romantic ambiance while hanging from the canopy above. The ruffled cocktail tables reveal a soft glow, while sequined royal tables sparkle glamorously, offering rich detail along with the shimmering mini champagne bottle favors, metallic rimmed flutes, and the bride's Italian-inspired gown.

Visit the links below to see how Wedding & Events Design, LLC will make their visions come to life on their special day.

Losing all my data and previous work I had done and saved on this project during a power loss made it double the work and very time consuming. Not having any experience with website design added to the challenge. Thankfully, Wix made the process more manageable through their templates. Through this project, I learned more about and how to apply the A8 formula.

Project 3.

Posted By Laura Huertas, Saturday, April 22, 2017
Updated: Saturday, April 22, 2017

“Laura Huertas, a certified Wedding & Event Planner and with an associate's degree in Interior Design is proudly opening her new Wedding & Event Planning company in Miami. You will learn about her new services and why do you need her to enjoy your planning process and your big day”.

To be able to do my grand opening required a lot of work, studies and dedication. It's been a great experience here in Lovegevity and I learned a lot reading the book, completing the assignments and working on my projects. I really needed this to start my business in the right way because many times you  have good intentions and you want to help others but you definitely need to have good knowledge in this field first.

With this project I hope everyone leaves wanting to know more about me, my business and the way I work. Not only because of what I said but for what they experienced. Every detail is carefully planned in order to show  the way I'll do things.

my lovegevity university experience

Posted By Mary Francesca DiFranco, Friday, April 21, 2017
Working with the Lovegevity University has been a great learning experience. I have always been very interested in wedding and event planning, and I love decorating and putting things together. However, before taking this course I was not aware of the many things and small details that go into planning a big event such as a wedding. I am very happy that I took this course with Lovegevity because it taught me vital information that I need to know if I plan on continuing a career in event planning. I also really enjoyed how the website is like an online community. It was fascinating to see so many other projects, blog posts, and creative minds. I enjoyed seeing other peoples work. To me, wedding and event planning is about having fun and letting your creativity shine, which is something I got to experience in this course. I am now excited to become a wedding and event planner and put to practice all of the wonderful things I have learned.

Project 2: Selling Your Services

Posted By Ayesha Fardell, Friday, April 21, 2017

Hi! My name is Ayesha Fardell and I own a Los Angeles based wedding planning business called Elle Qui Vit. We cater to millennials seeking an easy, accessible, unique planning experience that speaks to them as a couple. My experience with this course so far has been very positive. While I have planned a handful of weddings, I feel that LWPI I has given me the tools and techniques I needed to really grow as a business and serve my clients to the best of my abilities. Project 2 has prepared me for taking my business to the next level, I now have contracts, bridal party checklists, bridal questionnaires and more in place to present myself in the most professional way possible. I feel so much more organized and clear on the steps I need to take to have a successful wedding and events planning business.

My Project 2 presentation is a package of information that I can offer my clients upon initial contact so they have the tools they need to see why Elle Qui Vit is the best fit for them. My color palate is white, black, grey and shades of rose, and my font is Merriweather for titles, and Arial for the text body. The images I used are a mixture of my own and vintage shots, as I feel my business incorporates both the new and old. I hope you enjoy!

The Perfect Blend.

Posted By Laura Huertas, Thursday, April 20, 2017
Updated: Saturday, April 22, 2017

I've always been in love with the idea of helping others and bringing to life their visions and dreams. I am a good listener so I pay lots of attention when someone is giving me details about what they are and what they want. That's why I decided to study design when I graduated from school. My career helped me to understand the tastes and needs of each client and how to create something special for everyone, something that was designed just for him/her. I started working in a design company but I realized "desk jobs" were not my thing. I wanted to give a little bit of "action" to my life. That's when I discovered my love for planning. I started listening to friends and family talking about their special events and then I realized I was already designing and planning everything in my mind for them.

Thanks to my previous studies I'm able to make the whole design process but I was missing the "how to" make it possible. That's why I decided to get certified in Wedding & Event Planning. To learn and understand every necessary step in order to put everything together for the events.

It's been a great experience and I learned a lot reading the book, completing the assignments and working on my projects. I really needed this to start my business in the right way because many times you have good intentions and you want to help others but you definitely need to have good knowledge in this field first.

My Journey

Posted By Marlene Martinez, Thursday, April 20, 2017
Hi my name is Marlene Martinez and I just would like to say that I had a wonderful time taking this course. I learned so much about event planning. I had only been in this industry for about 2 years and hope to learn more as i continue my journey as an event planner. My instructor, Abeki Carter has taught me that we have to learn how to face our fear. Once we get through it, it will be a piece of cake. We have to put ourselves out there. I'm sure we will all do great and so will I. We have to believe in ourselves and not let our future clients down. Good Luck everyone !

Project 2

Posted By Sofia Evankovich, Wednesday, April 19, 2017

My business, Sofia’s Event Consulting, strives to exceed clients event expectations every time! I want to create those meaningful and memorable events for every single client.  My marketing strategy aims at repeat business and word of mouth via referrals. A bonus to event planning is there is always an occasion; birthdays, weddings, showers, reunions, graduations etc.  Additionally, using social media and local networking meetings I will be able to expand my business and begin build my reputation.I would say my “bread and butter” type of event includes about 200 guests, a budget of approximately $20,000, it incorporates food service, bar service, cocktail hour, live entertainment, and last roughly 5-7 hours. That is my event comfort zone, however, I love find new clients with new traditions and not only grow my event knowledge but learn about a new culture or tradition. There are two specialty services that I offer to my clients, diagrams to visualize any space or part of their wedding, it calms the clients mind and, I offer full 48 hour timeline preparation, from the rehearsal dinner to leaving for the honeymoon. I like to tailor my service specifically to each clients. My listed packages are a starting point with customization to come! The future for my business looks bright, with just beginning in the event world there is lots of growth ahead of me. I plan to move around within the next several years which will allow myself to experience different events and opportunities across the nation. My brand is new, it is evolving, and it is excited about each new opportunity!
