Lovegevity Experience

Posted By Yvette M. Pacheco, Monday, March 27, 2017
Its hard to explain the experience with this Lovegevity course. I have absolutely loved every minute of it. This course has both sent me in the right direction and scared me at the same time. It has also taught me everything I want for my business and how I should properly brand for it as well. It has challenged me to think about how I want to set up my documents and how I should operate my business. This course was amazing and exactly what I needed to get my business off on the right foot.

CWEP Project 3 - A Divine Affair

Posted By Nicole Foley, Monday, March 27, 2017

Project 3 is finally finished and it feels so good to see what putting together a wedding and events planning company can really look like! My company is called A Divine Affair and for my grand opening I have coordinated a philanthropic event focused on raising money for the treatment of AMPS disease. I have researched the disease and based my project on how to incorporate the health of the children affected by it and helping them have fun. I've laid out the entire grand opening using the A6 production on my new website: https://nikkifoley91.wixsite.com/adivineaffair/thank-you

Go ahead and connect to my social media through it as well!

check out my grand opening today. I also have information and pictures of the past events that I have actually coordinated. I'd love for everybody to see it and let me know what they think. Thanks everyone!

CWEP Project #1

Posted By Kimberly Cleveland, Sunday, March 26, 2017

I am submitting the mood board for my A8 project 1. I put this mood board together for Kate & Ryan’s September wedding in 2018. They both work in the arts and dreamt of an old Hollywood art deco theme. After meeting Kate & Ryan I see that they are not only creative, but very professional and trendy. I chose to put a modern twist on the old Hollywood glam look and feel with a hint of sparkle, simple flowers and elegant lighting. So far this project has been so much fun. I’m very detailed and love that I can express it here!

CWEP Project 1

Posted By Rhona Leary (Rodriguez), Sunday, March 26, 2017
This project is based on Alejandro & Alexandria's future wedding during the Spring of 2019.  They choose a very minimal but green wedding theme because they're both very in love with nature and the simple things in life. I chose to keep it very minimal with clean lines but a lot of green accents to highlight the outdoor, tropical beach setting their wedding will take place at. I liked doing this assignment because I also have a green thumb and can appreciate their love for nature.

Project 1

Posted By Jennifer A. Milan-Lobo, Saturday, March 25, 2017
This is the mood board and inspiration for my Project 1.  This young couple is getting married in sunny south Florida where they met. They are high school sweethearts and have finally decided to tie the knot. For their wedding, they have chosen a blush, beige, and navy color palette.

CWEP Project 1

Posted By Julissa Romero, Friday, March 24, 2017
Updated: Friday, March 24, 2017
Hello it's Julissa with Jul Designs. I designed this wedding for Cierra and Jessie, a couple in their late twenties. They're a couple with the love for adventure and simplicity. The theme to their wedding is Rustic meets Princess. Cierra requested that there be a simple flower wall for pictures; what princess doesn't like flowers? An outdoor wedding with simplicity of lights and rustic decor. They both decided on a calm and subtle wedding where only their closest friends and family will be in attendance. Save the Date! This is all happening June 8, 2018.

Project 3

Posted By Patrice Muhlenfeld, Friday, March 24, 2017

The completion of Project 3 has really "wrapped a bow" around the whole Lovegevity experience for me.  I have never done work in a formal context with event planning, so when I began Project 1, I really was lost in regards to the direction the course was taking.  After the second project, I began understanding where the pathway was leading.  Now after Project 3, and with all the teachings and podcasts, I finally comprehend how all the material fit together.  I am not ready to make my real website yet, as I am still part time in the workforce.  However, when the time comes, I feel well prepared for this process as well as being equipped to start building the framework of my own business.  I especially appreciated Lovegevity's emphasis on Appreciation, for clients and for vendors and for each other, and also for the encouragement for Philanthropy.

My Experience.

Posted By Koren Merrill, Thursday, March 23, 2017

Hi Everyone.

My experience with LWPI has been a rocky one. I have always enjoyed my assignments and all the new information I have taken in. I took a while longer than I had anticipated, but I'm close to finally completing this journey. I still have all the love for weddings and assisting in changing someone's life that I did when I first started the program. It's definitely an eye opening experience when you start writing a contract for your own business and all. I had never thought about that part of everything and it definitely has made a difference. I feel like I have learned a lot more than I anticipated originally and I'm thankful for every minute of it. I can't wait to finish up and start making some wedding dreams come true!

CWEP Project 1

Posted By Amisha Wadia, Thursday, March 23, 2017
Hi my name is Amisha, I really enjoyed doing this project to the fullest.  I pick an elephant theme South Asian wedding that related to my cultural background.  I wanted to also add glitz and glamour to have some festive looks to it.  I also make sure some traditional rituals were included, like for example the groom arriving on a horse to wed his bride.  This always gets everyone's heart racing at the beginning of the event.  This is what you call a modern day south asian wedding.
