Project 3 Grand Opening

Posted By Ashley Bald, Wednesday, August 14, 2019

Hello Everyone!

Project three has no doubt been a challenge for me, as thinking through a grand opening was not something I thought we would be doing during our course here. However, I think it has forced me to plan ahead for actually starting the business and gave me insight on how to do so. I am excited to finally finish up the course and get started on my business plan and some start up essentials. I'm not sure what else to say except that this course has been amazing and I could not have even attempted to start my own business without it. I hope that everyone else taking this course is very successful in their businesses or entrepreneur endeavors!

Project 3

Posted By Keeley L. Habiak, Wednesday, November 14, 2018

Happily Ever After presents the Grand Opening of its business at The Elan Catering & Events in Lodi, New Jersey. All engaged couples welcome to attend on June 15, 2019.

While taking the Wedding and Event Planning course I was surprised to learn so much about having my own wedding planning business. Most of what I learned I never even took into thought. Creating A6/A8 I especially enjoyed learning. With this tool I will be able to organize each of the weddings I plan with the A6/A8 titles. Project 3 was very helpful as it taught me visually how to make a website, write up a press release, and show myself I can do it as long as my mind is in it. Although I loved taking this course it definitely was a little confusing at first. But with the help of the tools provided through the course and my school advisor I was able to quickly understand how to operate the website. As my course comes to end I hope to find an internship soon and continue my education by taking another course called Wedding and Event Design. With that I hope to learn more about the design aspect of weddings. Therefore I plan to eventually find a wedding planning job and maybe in the future open up my own business.

Elaborate Expressions & Events Grand Opening...Partying with A Purpose!

Posted By Diane Rogers, Sunday, September 16, 2018
Updated: Sunday, September 16, 2018

Hi Fellow Planners & Professionals!

I am Diane Rogers coming in to share another fun post of my Grand Opening Mood Board.  Thus far this course has been such a delight. Its been the challenge I've been needing for some time now and although I've had just that, I must say that this journey has given me self gratification and a reminder that I can do anything I put my mind to!  This mood board presented doesn't do the actual assignment justice for the board was just not big enough to capture all the details that went into the actual project!

My mood board is entitled Elaborate Expressions & Events Grand Opening....Partying with A Purpose.  Our grand opening will be an event to remember. The Press Release and Invitations went out to the entire city of businesses and some local officials. The beautiful Magenta, Black and White color scheme will set the tone for the evening. So that we are easily recognized by our guests, the staff will be dressed in our vibrant branding colors of magenta with black and white as well.  There will be a variety of both light and heavy hors d'oeuvres, wines and champagnes  served to suit the pallets of all. There will be a live band, dancing, gifts and door prizes for registered newsletter entrants and donors to our Atlanta Mission cause. The guests will be able to mingle and walk the beautiful grounds of the venue filled with magenta cocktail tables, wine bars, food stations, and beautiful white lounge furniture all while networking making new connections and making their contributions to the cause.

There will be gifts, giveaways and lots of Elaborate Expressions & Events paraphernalia  on coffee mugs, t-shirts, key chains, tote bags, notepads to go around for everyone!

Take a peek!

B'z Buzzin Events is a family owned event planning company out of San Pablo, California. The company's owner and lead planner is a Bay Area native who has worked in the wedding industry for close to 7 years before branching out to start her own event planning company, with the help of her talented family.

"Let us make your wedding day all the buzz about town"

Project 3 has been the most exciting for me because I was able to envision my actual launch party or grand opening of my business. I believe a lot of creative energy came about while working on the grand opening. While I have some time before I am completely ready to host my launch party, I believe this portion of the class gave me so many tools that I can take with me and apply to my business. I am forever grateful for my instructor Mr. Tony, He was such an amazing guild through this journey.

Grand Opening Blog Post

Posted By Loreana Taner, Saturday, November 14, 2015

Timeless Experiences by Loreana will be hosting its grand opening event on January 5, 2016.  We will be hosting approximately 10 couples looking to learn more about the wedding industry and have a little fun! The event will feature a tasting of a local catering venue's most esteemed dishes, along with a famous dessert company's stuffed cupcakes.  Couples will also hear from a wedding industry specialist, local vendors, and of course, Loreana and her new services!  Guests will receive a wealth of information ranging from brochures to pamphlets to information sheets, all complimentary when they arrive at the event.  They will even enjoy special offers from the vendors when they sign up before departing from the event.  Couples are encouraged to mingle with each other and learn from one another, too!  This event is also partnering with Relay for Life Nutley, NJ, taking place in March 2016, so guests will be able to donate/participate along side the vendors and Loreana.

This small, VIP event is sure to be fun as well as educational.  Timeless Experiences hopes this event will get the word out about their one-of-a-kind services in the North New Jersey area.  RSVP to Loreana by December 20, 2015! tebyloreana@gmail.com, 732-757-5718, www.daviloreana.wix.com/tebyloreana
