Offering a new take on Day-of-Wedding Planning Services in Cleveland,TN.

Maddie Cartwright, a certified wedding planner and owner of Bride's Best Day is now offering services in the Cleveland, TN and greater area. Maddie is certified through the Wedding Planning Institute and brings passion for wedding planning and professionality together. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2017 she moved back to Cleveland ready to make a childhood dream come true, becoming a wedding planner.

My experience in this course has been informative and way too long! I should have stayed on top of things, but such a big relief to be submitting project 3! I worked hard on this project and it is something I really plan to do. I think it is cohesive and reasonable.

CWEP Project 3

Posted By Katie Blomberg, Tuesday, June 23, 2020

all in the details weddings & events owner Katie Blomberg to hold grand opening event at The North House in Avon, CT on July 18, 2020 at 6:30 PM- Katie Blomberg, a certified professional wedding and event planner through Lovegevity University, is introducing her wedding and event planning business to The Farmington Valley with an Apps & Arrangements event.

Hello! My name is Katie Blomberg. I am excited to share the work I did on Project 3 for the grand opening of my business. Even though I am not planning to open my own business right now, this project helped me think through what I would like the launch to look like in the future. It was challenging at times to think what would be the most budget friendly and impactful way to go about this grand opening event, but in the end I decided I would include several local vendors as partners in the event. These collaborations would help with costs and add other giveaway options, while also exposing couples and guests to trusted vendors that I would recommend for their upcoming weddings and events.

This course has pushed me out of my comfort zone in several ways, but I am so glad I took this opportunity to invest in my education in the wedding and event industry. I feel more prepared to apply for internships and more confident in my passion and ability to work with clients to plan beautiful and memorable events. I am thankful I could take this course during this time of quarantine, it helped me use my time well and kept my mind focused on my future in this industry!

GRAND OPENING; Brunch With Mila!

The Memorable Event That You Won't Regret Attending

[WILLIAMSBURG, NEW YORK. JUNE 30TH 2020] - A new certified wedding and event planning business had arrived near you! Join the grand opening of Events With Mila by attending Brunch With Mila! Music, bite sized food, and a mimosa bar. What more could you possibly ask for? Just kidding, There's so much more!

Hi, I'm Milena! My experience in this CWEP course is not what I had expected. I have gained a numerous amount of information that I will definitely put to use once I begin working in the industry. Unfortunately my class had to be through Zoom due to COVID19, but I'm making the best of it. It's truly an enjoyable and worthy course. My experience with doing Project 3 is a little different from Project 2, although they were both fun to do. This one was more in depth on imagining how to plan my own event. It was challenging trying to think of creative ways to stand out to my potential clients, but doing this project made me excited for the actual day that it will hopefully happen.

CWEP Project 3

Posted By Sara Jongeneel, Wednesday, June 3, 2020

SaraYoung Weddings & Events is officially in business, bringing fresh creativity to the Eastern Shores of Maryland. You are invited to its grand opening, held 4:00-6:00 pm Friday, Oct. 2, 2020 at the Annapolis Maritime Museum. Not only does SaraYoung Weddings & Events offer full-service wedding planning and coordination, but also provides floral design services — two services for the price of one. The night's theme is "Starry Night" and is intended for local vendors in the Maryland/Virginia/D.C. areas and prospective couples looking for their perfect wedding planning team!

My experience in Lovegevity's course confirmed my passion for planning weddings and my aspiration to be a part of such a beautiful industry. Throughout the course, I have learned about various topics that are important to know as a wedding planner from the history of weddings to color palettes and day-of timelines to cultural interpretations of engagements and celebrations. Not only that, but I enjoyed reading about how to build (and grow) a successful business as a wedding planner. Prior to the course, I had no idea how to run a business, and the course has definitely eased my anxieties!

As I began organizing project 3, I became excited over what the future holds for me and my business. Planning the grand opening helped me see the possibilities of becoming a business owner and getting started with promoting and bringing in clients. Through project 3, I was able to gather marketing collateral for release to local vendors and think about how I want to brand myself as not only a wedding planner and floral designer, but also a new business owner.

I cannot wait to collaborate with other planners and vendors and get busy working with clients in my dream job! Thank you Lovegevity and the Wedding Planning Institute for helping me achieve my professional goal of becoming a Certified Wedding and Event Planner.

CWEP Project 3 - Grand Opening

Posted By Jackie L. Bent, Friday, May 22, 2020
A new professional wedding and event planning company set to improve the Nigerian event planning industry! Jackie Bent Signature Weddings & Events is a planning company based in Abuja, Nigeria.
My name is Jackie, I live in Nigeria and i have always wanted to be a professional wedding planner for many years now but i ventured into fashion business. During the pandemic i decided to make good use of my free time to finally acquire my certification in wedding planning. I did a lot of research on institutions online and i came across Lovegevity. The name stood out to me, and i enjoyed watching Ms. Sue speak. I did more research and decided to register for the Wedding & Event Planner course.
So far it has been an amazing experience with so many helpful resources available, i was able to navigate through the course easily and i really enjoyed taking on the projects. The text book was also thorough and easy to understand.
Project 3 was my favourite project because it really gave me great insight into actualising my dreams of starting and launching my business. It has taken the bulk of the work off my shoulders and i feel almost totally ready to launch! For my project i put together a launch event that would be fun, entertaining, educative and inspiring. I included special talks by industry professionals and philanthropists. Lots to drink, eat and great music!

Posted By Ashley Rennie, Wednesday, April 29, 2020
Hi my name is Ashley Rennie and I will be graduating from LWPI in a couple of weeks. Taking this course has provided with me the knowledge and confidence that I needed to start my event planning business. This course really teaches you the "how to" of event planning. At first it seemed like a lot of information to learn in such a short amount of time, however, it was very clear, thorough, and easy to understand.

For Project 3, we had to launch the grand opening of our business. Usually when you see grand openings on tv and social media it seemed so easy and effortless. However, after working on this project I learned launching your business is not as easy it seems. A lot goes into launching a grand opening such as, marketing, creating a press release, flyers, business cards, booking a venue, finding vendors and clients to invite, etc. This project was definitely time-consuming and stressful, however it was also rewarding cause I learned a lot and when I do open my business one day I'll be ready to launch the grand opening.

A.R Wedding & Events (which is brand new event planning company), will have its grand opening on 02 May 2020 at 21 W 46th St New York, NY 10036. The grand opening will be in the setting of meet and greet party held in a beautiful office space with a terrace rooftop.

CWEP Project 3

Posted By Paulina A. Miloszewska-Doerfler, Wednesday, April 15, 2020

Milo Events cordially invites all future brides to the grand opening hosted with a wedding planning training and decoration workshop. The grand opening aims to showcase to future clients the opportunities that can be obtained when working with a wedding professional and for Milo Events to establish a closer relationship with prospective clients. When creating weddings, Milo Events wants each wedding to be unique and suited to each couple. Therefore, building an atmosphere of a family meeting will open up potential future clients and allow the company to learn more about the couple’s needs and interests.

Working on project 3 made me realize how many elements contribute to organizing a business opening. I missed many of the seemingly obvious elements when thinking about a company and during the current planning I was able to correct my previous oversights. It is very helpful when planning an event to use the 6/8 rule, which allows you to organize the perfect event by paying attention to details in various aspects that will make for an unforgettable whole.

Milo Events cordially invites all future brides to a grand opening combined with a wedding planning training and decoration workshop. Information on the event can be found on the company website, on the Facebook fanpage, and via leaflets. Due to the fact that the workshop will be conducted in a small group setting, Milo Event has arranged a cozy home-type room with a large communal table to provide communal interaction. Due to the fact that the opening will take place in October, the training room will be decorated with an autumn theme, filled with the scent of cinnamon apples and gingerbread, and a lot of pillows that will give a cozy home atmosphere. As part of the entertainment, participants will have the opportunity to create elegant decorative pumpkins and a wreath with popular autumn leaves to hang on their wall. During the lunch break, participants will be able to enjoy a sweet and savory buffet with cakes, sandwiches, and small snacks. As part of the drinks, participants will be provided with coffee / tea, water or juices. After leaving the training, everyone will receive a thank you bag with a surprise stylized for Halloween.

CWEP Project 3

Updated: Wednesday, March 25, 2020

Newport News, VA- March 14, 2020- Good Time Wedding and Events, also known as GT Wedding and Events is proud to announce the launch and Grand Opening of their new business. We have brought together a great foundation of entrepreneurs that have a desire to bring togetherness in Hampton Roads. GT Wedding and Events has brought 20 years of combined experience. From hospitality, finance, business management and of course event planning. The event will be held at our location. There will be appetizers in the courtyard and then inside for the silent auction. We will have music and dancing. A great event not to be missed.

My great experience in this course is something I will cherish always and I have learned so many factors in the wedding and events industry. I must admit I am not very savvy with creating websites, canva, and doing blogs, but I can definitely say I am no longer scared to do these things. The grand opening project was fun to do because I can see myself in it at all times. Designing the theme, being present and talking to clients, eating wonderful food, picking out thank you gifts. Helping the community is a big to-do on my list as a business owner and while I help my business grow I can fundraise for children's programs.

Project 3 was based on summarizing everything I have learned about the wedding and event planning and applying it to creating my own Grand Opening. The grand opening will host local vendors and businesses to mingle with potential clients and create a buzz about my business. I described everything from announcement, atmosphere, appetite, amusement, to appreciation. Everything I used was resources of my location: neutral beach colors, auction items, invitations, all added up to my grand opening theme. Along with having my Grand Opening, there is a silent auction and the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls club of Peninsula Virginia.

There will be guest vendors such as photographers, caterers, baker & a lot more. So come with questions! The event will be held at The District Venue in Ankeny, Iowa. Tickets are $15 per person and 20% of the proceeds goes to the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence. This project and the corresponding assignments made me really dig deep. The business plan opened my eyes to the extensive details of starting a business. I enjoyed working on this project because it made me realize that I’m so close to starting my dream business. Since it’s my 3rd project using Wix, it’s much easier to navigate and finish my project quicker. This course is has given me the foundation and extra push and confidence to pursue my dream.

This grand opening is for my future business. This event will showcase various wedding themes as well as provide guest vendors. Each table will have its own theme. There will be appetizers, drinks & desserts for our guests to enjoy. Our DJ will set the tone at the beginning of the evening by playing instrumental music to make easier to chat. Guests can also enjoy the photo booth as they browse and chat with the guest vendors. Raffle and door prizes will take place throughout the event. Before the party ends there will be a grand prize drawing for free wedding day coordinating services by Yours Truly Events.

CWEP Project 3

Posted By Manny Mandapat, Saturday, March 7, 2020

Manny's Event Designs will celebrate its Grand Opening! Vendors, clients, and associates are invited to the event. Our company brings to the San Francisco/Bay Area the know-how's and services available to help clients plan for their special event. Whether it is a wedding, corporate, or fundraising event, we provide services from the "day of services" to full planning at an affordable price.

I decided to become an event planner two months ago. It was right after I helped plan and design my department's holiday event party. The compliments and thank you I received motivated me to take action. After doing research on schools and programs, I decided to enroll in Lovegevity's Wedding Planning Institute. This course taught me a lot about the wedding industry, such as how to book clients, vendor and bridal interviews, pricing strategies, starting and marketing your business--just to name a few. Just recently, I did an internship with Kevin Lee. This experience taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, problem solving, organization, responsibility, time management, and adaptability. Now that I am nearing the end of this course, I am not only grateful for what I have learned, but I am ready to use the tools needed to become a certified wedding planner. Working on this project allowed me to experience what a Grand Opening event would be like, while learning the process of creating a brand/design that represented my vision and mission.

For this project, the Grand Opening theme is the "Roaring 20's" and "Jazz Age". The theme represents bridging the past with the present. One of the business objective is to include old-fashioned principles of the past, while incorporating the current designs, ideologies, and technology of today. The company's brand is bold and centered around the revolution of freedom--freedom to be innovative, freedom to think outside the box, freedom to marry who one loves. During the 1920's, people started breaking out of the "prim and proper" ideals into a free-spirited attitude. Today, in 2020, we seem to have that same nonconformist and freethinking mentality. Life just seems to be moving at a fast pace, people are always on the go. This new sense of freedom and opulence is perhaps what clients are looking for in planning and designing their own special event. Manny's Event Designs can definitely do our part in this process.

With over 25+ years in the service industry Malissa Terrell-Varner acquired and mastered skills in catering, restaurant management and recently with sales & marketing.  So, after a recent job layoff, she decided to FINALLY pursue her dreams and start “Simply CaliRoo”. With her combination of creativity and attention to detail along her Certification in Wedding & Event Planning makes their services an asset to any event in the Greater Richmond Area.

Terrell-Varner said, “with my passion for detail, love for helping others and determination of making memories last. I decided what better way to do all of that, than event planning. This passion led her to Lovegevity University where she became certified as a Wedding and Event Planner in February 2020 and soon after Launched Simply CaliRoo, LLC.

Photos from some of her most successful events will be on display at her Grand Opening Launch Party along with light hords d’ouevres from her preferred caterer “Mosaic Catering + Events”. That evening she will feature the “Wounded Warrior Project Charity” and ask guests in attendance to consider donating to this amazing cause. At the end of the evening, she will match all donation and 100% of the profits will go directly to the Wounded Warrior Project. She will also have drawing throughout the evening for gift cards from various restaurants and stores along with a GRAND PRIZE drawing for a getaway package for 2.

Forever Devoted Events Grand Opening! Come meet Mrs. Rice and discuss package options for your dream events! Join us for appetizers, DJ entertainment and Forever Devoted Events mascot, Mellow the Woolly Siberian Husky. Samatha Rice, a Wedding and Event Planner is founder of Forever Devoted Events. Mrs. Rice is an expert at planning dream weddings or events such as birthday parties or baby showers.

My experience throughout this course was great! I already own one business with my husband. This course taught me so many business skills that I did not have. All of these skills can be used for both of my businesses. I am very grateful for Cho Phillips and her course! I finally feel I am prepared to take on the world of business and cannot wait to grow both Barnwood Bark and Forever Devoted Events

My Grand Opening is a spring celebration to benefit the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Shelter and Heartland Husky Rescue. Below is my mood board for this project displaying the spring floral theme.

Again, thank you Cho Phillips for this course!
