Greetings Everyone,

 

I absolutely loved Project 3!!!! This particular project helped me to delve deep into my creative skills, skills that I didn’t think were possible before or easily attained. Project 3 opened me up to a whole new thought process and a way of thinking it showed me how much I have achieved and can achieve on my journey to becoming a full time Event and Design Planner.

 

Luminous Star Events & Design will have their Grand Opening with a Bubbly Blast-Off launch on Friday September 27, 2019 at the SkyRoom Rooftop Lounge.  Our guest will consist of vendors, family, and friends, our guest will have their choice of Champagne Bubbly or Sparking Apple Cider to sip on plus an array of fruits, finger foods and dessert delights to nosh.  Our premier DJ will spin eclectic music for our guest to vibe and network to.  For our philanthropic endeavors we have partnered with a non-profit organization, all ticket sale proceeds from our Bubbly Blast-Off will be donated to this organization.

 

As a thank you to our guest who attend our Bubbly Blast-Off launch, they will receive a complimentary swag bag containing Flute Glasses with our logo imprinted on them plus our 20% off logo card for Luminous Star Events & Design Planning Packages.

Project 3 Grand Opening

Hello everyone!

Project three was very exciting for me to do because it brought me one step closer to my goal. My desire when I entered Lovegevity University was to learn how to be a successful wedding planner and event coordinator. I have learned so much from this class and I feel that I am ready to venture out and market my services as a planner and coordinator.

I am presenting my launch event for my company, Prestigious Events. Prestigious Events will host their grand opening at Two Roses Events on August 30, 2019. From 5pm until 10pm. Prestigious Events is a professional wedding and event planning company offering luxury event planning for all wedding budgets. Prestigious Events will show you how to have a luxurious event for less.

During the grand opening guests will have the opportunity to fill out a client profile sheet, meet with local vendors, learn about the importance of having a wedding and event planner, and they will also learn about color schemes. Admission is free but each guest will be asked to donate ten dollars to one of two charities of our chioice. Each participate will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a dinner cruise for two.

Project 3 Grand Opening

Hello Everyone!

Project three has no doubt been a challenge for me, as thinking through a grand opening was not something I thought we would be doing during our course here. However, I think it has forced me to plan ahead for actually starting the business and gave me insight on how to do so. I am excited to finally finish up the course and get started on my business plan and some start up essentials. I'm not sure what else to say except that this course has been amazing and I could not have even attempted to start my own business without it. I hope that everyone else taking this course is very successful in their businesses or entrepreneur endeavors!

Hi my name is Chantelle and I'am from New York. Events By Channy B will be hosting our first Grand Opening July 12, 2019 at The Hotel Plaza. Our theme is purple and blue. There will be Vendors so you can network and gain information about event planning. Also there will be food, entertainment,games and a guess speaker. My experience was good it was very helpful with learning how to run my business i just wish it was more hands on .

Hi my name is Mary, owner of Touché by Mary. Busy, don’t have time to plan your wedding or event? Tired of planning your own events? In need of a stress free wedding or event with an amazing ending? Touché Wedding & Event Planning by Mary is here at a your service. We are offering our grand opening on Saturday, July 27th, 2019. Join us at Methodist Church in Brooklyn, NY at 7pm.

This course has truly been an exciting and amazing ride. It gave me the history of event planning while also forcing me to create document templates, blogs etc that I've been prolonging. It also enhanced my web design skills.

Project 3 overview consists of our grand opening. Invites and business cards will be distributed at bridal shows, local florist shops, venues, photographer/videographer locations, bakeries and bridal shops. Promotion will also be on Instagram and via a press release. During the grand opening, guests will be served light refreshments and entertained by our funky DJ providing hip tunes, a photographer on site, a wedding gown show, a hair show, a florist show and a makeup show. In the end everyone will leave with a gift bag full of goodies.

Hi, I'm Kirsten. I am opening my wedding and event planning business, iDo Events. I have always had a niche for organization and planning. I realized my dream job was to be an event planner in high school when I was helping plan my cousin's wedding. Through this course I have learned so much and can't wait to get started in my business. I'm opening my business in Bloomington, IN at the moment with plans to move to the Knoxville area of Tennessee within the next year.I want to focus my business on helping people in any way I can. I want to be flexible with my packages so brides can add or remove services they need for their special day. My goal is to make the wedding planning process as stress free as possible for my clients. 

I would like my grand opening to be very welcoming and friendly. The day would be focused on our customers and helping them get their event under way with us. It would be organized as a cocktail hour with a meet and greet. I would have tall circular tables set up with tablecloths and floral centerpieces. I love the “small plates” trend of single serving size appetizers. I would offer various appetizer foods for guests to choose from as well as a champagne bar with fruits, champagne and juices to create your own cocktail. I would set up two displays, one for a wedding and one for a special event. These would serve as an example of decoration ideas for clients to see my work. I would have photos of events I have done presented around the room.

Guests would be asked to enter our drawing to win a bridal emergency kit for the day of their wedding as well as our discount drawing by filling out a contact information sheet and leaving it in our drop box. Guests would also be able to open one small envelope on the wall with each envelope containing a note card with a different prize written on it. Prizes would include gift cards, free services, discounts for services, coupons for other area vendors, small bridal emergency kits and small prizes. Our grand opening would sponsor a raffle drawing with all proceeds going to two local charities, Middle Way House and Susie’s Place to help women and children who are victims of abuse.

Thank you gift bags will be given to each guest, containing our business card, informational brochure, bridal questionnaire, special event questionnaire and a scented candle to remember us by. Guests who sign up at our grand opening event will receive a free initial consultation to learn more about our services for their upcoming event. We want to make sure every guests leaves knowing how much we appreciate their support and knows our mission to help them in any way we can.

Hi my name is Ashley Berry and I am introducing the Grand Opening of my company Someday Events. I have been in the food and beverage industry for about 10 years now and have done coordinating for 2. I decided to channel my broad knowledge into something more specific and expand on that. This course has been challenging for me because I did it all online while working full time. I have enjoyed it though because it has pushed me to learn other things and I can't wait to see where it takes me next.

The project I am presenting is my Grand Opening. I wanted to give a southern feel with a modern touch. It will be located in Downtown Raleigh, NC. The venue I chose was more modern while as the theme and food added to the southern feel I was going for.

Grand Opening for Events and Beyond by Sarah Dawn

Come join us for a night of friendship of fun! Events and Beyond by Sarah Dawn is launching on August 2nd 2019! There will be food and games. A large photo booth with props and a harpist from SOU for our listening entertainment. Tickets are $40.00 and 50% of all proceeds go to support the Rogue Valley's local Maslow Project.

Maslow Project's mission is to offer every homeless youth a chance for success and the opportunity for a better life. They provide resources for basic needs and remove barriers to education and employment. The goal is to foster self sufficiency in an empowering environment.

I want people to be made aware of this non profit organization because I think it's a huge benefit in our community. The future is in the hands of our youth so we need to do all we can to empower them.

I am so excited to have finished this project and announce Rose & Lily Events' Project 3 completion!!

Fredericksburg, Virginia, Saturday, July 11th 2019 Rose & Lily Events is celebrating their Grand Opening as a certified event and wedding planning company. With an eye for detail and a heart for excellence, Rose & Lily events focuses on bespoke and fine art celebrations. With a love for creativity and family, intimate events are their specialty.

I have been going through the self-study online CWEP course. I started at the turn of the year and as Rose & Lily Events is actually already in motion as my current business and because I am a work-from home wife and mom I have been moving through this course slowly but at a sustainable pace. I have enjoyed my course thus far and look forward to being able to add a certification to my title!

This project is No. 3 for the certification program and features what could be our Grand Opening celebration. It details the A6 elements I chose to make this a festive signature event. From featuring local vendors to supporting a local crisis pregnancy center this event has it all!

Below you will find the mood board for our mauve, white, grey, and gold celebration. We are going for a classy, vintage vibe with modern touches.

Hello my name is Daiana Montilla the owner of Prime Party Rentals Inc. My company is focusing on the event planning, rentals and EVENT decorations. I will be a certified wedding and event planner in a few weeks and I'm so excited because this course has helped me to build the confidence that I need to deal with my clients. Project 3 was a challenge, because I have to make specific requirements to design my company grand opening. Colors, place and venue was selecting representing what we are going to be as a company where details and quality are going to be the main focus as well as customer satisfaction.

I definitely recommend this course it's a great step stone to begin this event planer journey

My name is Adriana Jimenez and this is my Project 3. This project is for the launch of our new business, A & A Weddings and Events. It's almost time for our Grand Opening!  There is so much to do, but I am so excited to start working on my business along with my daughter, Alexa.   Planning our Grand Opening is going to be a great way for us to work on the same project using our own style, ideas and personal touches for the Grand Opening event. 
Our event will be raising money for Mission Arlington.  We will be holding a raffle for a Gift Card Tree.  The gift cards will be donated by local merchants and restaurants.  
Our main goal in this business is to be financially and reputably successful.  The best way to accomplish our goal is to be able to provide the best service and the most special event each client can have.  We will work with any budget.   Everyone deserves a beautiful wedding or special event, and we will do our best to make that happen.
This is the last project of our CWEP course.  I'm sad but also relieved that it is over. It has been a very interesting and helpful class. There is so much to learn in such a short time. I have really enjoyed this class and everything it has taught me so I can be a successful CWEP. 
I can’t wait to get started planning our next event after the launch of our new business.

Hello My name is Leena Soneji and I am so thrilled to announce the Launch of my company Love and Luxury Events. My journey begins here as a versatile Event and Wedding Planner. My exposure to the Multi cultural and Expat living has enhance my personality very adoptive to different cultural backgrounds. 

My Goal is my First Step of my Business . My  upcoming Grand  Opening is at Memorial Villages Framer Market, Houston . This will Target my local vendors and my local area. During our Grand opening we will provide Information to perspective clients detailing our Services and Packages , as well as introducing our local outstanding and hardworking Vendors for Face-to Face inquiry. 

Our company is moving towards sustainability and towards Healthy Ecosystem .Off course it is  challenging, but accepted for harmony and enhancement of current and future environment , economy and social structure without compromising to meet the needs of future generation . Going Green in Business includes and resulting in reduced expenses ,gaining customers and boosting employee's moral.

Our Events is Hosted by First Congregational church and The Memorial Villages Market is establishes as Houston's Premier Market. The whole atmosphere of the Event would be very Family Fun Friendly, very creative and exploratory. The Highlight of the Event would be off-course Love and Luxury Event , but also High quality Vendors , Live Music ,Pet Friendly,Guest Lecture ,Food demonstration  and Ample of parking. As soon Guest arrive they would be welcomed by lemonade ,then they will proceed to register table . They will fill all the information and will sit on guest chairs for further details and quires . There would be lots of biting size seasonal food displayed on table too . Mean while the other guests wait for their turn to meet ,they can explore the Market , enjoy Music and can do some shopping . Who so ever visit the Love and Luxury Booth will get token of appreciation . The bag will have thank you cookies , seed packet of flowers or vegetable , or a herb plant .   

Since the Event is from Morning till Afternoon in March 2020, the invites , flyers and advertising would be done in the month of February. It would also be posted on website and Facebook page of Memorial villages Market .

After the Event we followup with  Thank you Mailing and through personal contact .... moving ahead connecting  and building Trust !!!!

After perusing Wedding Event planning course at Lovegevity University my confidence measures for large .Thank you for wonderful experience and Knowledge .

Hello, my name is Pilar Brown from Houston, TX. Here is my Project 3 Mood Board, highlighting my upcoming Grand Opening Event.  My goal is to target medium to high end clientele,  by showcasing premier vendors and venues,  along with a spectacular Grand Opening celebration, we are hoping to accomplish this goal.

During our Grand Opening, we will provide information to prospective clients detailing our services and packages, as well as introducing our outstanding vendors for face to face Q and A.

CWEP Project 3 Grand Opening

Hello, This is Sherry Boudreaux from Katy Texas.  This is my CWEP Project 3 mood board showcasing my grand opening.

Simply Sherry Custom Weddings and Events is set to launch local Bridal seminars and mini expo. Our Grand Opening Event is May 16th at Agave Estates, 1250 FM 1463, Katy TX 77494 at 7pm. The cost of the event is $25 per couple or $15 single tickets.

Sherry offers newly engaged couples the opportunity to meet and greet local vendors in the wedding industry.  We will play games, register to win door prizes, and raffle off discount packages. As well as have a Q & A about how to plan a successful wedding and what that looks like for those on a budget. Participating vendors will have tips on what's hot and trending for 2019-2020. Each vendor has donated items for the newly engaged couple to go home with. Sherry has pledged 25% of all proceeds to be donated to National Charity League and directed to the Ballard House to help families be near the ones they love while fighting cancer.

I will be advertising on social media, local church and community message boards and bulletins.  I have a press release that will go out through local newspaper, TV and radio. We will send out save the date cards and follow up with direct email to register through our website.

Upon arrival, our guest will be see a Luxury Limousine or two, parked at the valet stand where they will leave the keys and enter the gates at Agave Estates.  Once in the door each will be greeted with a glass of champagne or signature drink from venue, asked to fill out the profile sheet and take a ticket for the drawings.  Each couple will receive a fun game card that will serve as an icebreaker. The evening will start for them with this fun ice breaker that will allow them to mingle and get to know other guest as well as the vendors. This along with the beautifully decorated room of red/gold/black color scheme designed by our florist Regina Gust Designs. I have arranged for them to sample the flavorful hors d’oeuvres and sweet petit fours from our preferred cake and catering partners.  Our DJ, Johnny Black Entertainment will be enhancing and helping create a mood for fun as he spins music from all genres as well as the top wedding songs of 2019 .

As the evening progresses we will allow each vendor to speak briefly about their product and services, taking small breaks for door prizes. At the conclusion of our evening every guest leaves with a survival kit that will include a stress ball, important tips on how to survive the engagement handout, sweet treats for the ride home just to name a few.  Each attendee will receive a handwritten thank you in the mail showing our appreciation for coming. I will also follow up with those B2B that made appointments for their one-on-one consultation to plan their big day. Again, Our mission is to create one of a kind events that allow our clients to make memories that last a lifetime and span generations.

My name is Nicole Bauer and I am so excited to start my new journey in wedding and event planning. I have many years experience in the industry, helping plan weddings, showers and I really enjoy participating in benefits and fundraisers as well. This project was a lot of fun and I felt confident in what I was doing!

St. Charles, IL - The press and public are invited to the grand opening of Nicole Bauer Events  on Saturday May 26. The event will be taking place at Fox River Distillery from 1-5pm. Come out to find out  about this new elegant wedding planner in town, along with many local vendors. Enjoy the tasty varieties of food truck vendors, specialty cocktails, some fun photoshoots and live music!

We will be taking donations at the door and all proceeds will be going to American Cancer Society to help researchers find a cure for cancer and help save the lives of currently battling.


Nicole Bauer is a certified wedding and event planner She established Nicole Bauer Events in 2019.  She has 10 years of business management and has been bartending for many banquets and weddings over those years, as well. She has also organized several events, such as, benefits, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, birthday parties and wedding planning. Her business is based out of St. Charles IL. The decision to begin her own wedding and event planning business was an easy one because it is something she has always had a real passion for.

Events by Kacie Marie will officially be launching their grand opening for their Chicago location. Events by Kacie Marie is a full service event planning company specializing in weddings, corporate events, baby showers and birthday parties.  

The Atmosphere of the launch will be modern and sleek with a color scheme of black and white to match the company colors. You will see texture and patterns throughout, which are signature elements I plan to incorporate in all my events. 

My experience in this course has been very positive. I've learned so much in a short period of time. I feel confident and eager to start a career in the event planning world!

 Christine Creations is officially laughing their grand opening for their Houston, Texas full event and design planning company. The Launch Party will take place Saturday September 21st 2019 at The Union HTX venue space located at 2315 Union Street Houston, TX at 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Guest will enjoy an evening of great music, food presented by a private chef, signature drinks, and displays of our unique event designs showcasing all of our services for the Big Day! I will work with a local network of the best vendors and partners to provide a successful platform for everyone. My core guest will include, Single couples looking to get engaged, newly engaged couples, photographers, bloggers, event rental vendors, event planners and designers, Dj's, event entertainers, bartenders, Make-up artist, Hair Stylist, etc. I will use Face book events, Instagram flyers and promotion, online invitations through email list I generate, as well as paper invitations for registered guest. 

Guest will walk up to a elegant decorated venue with garland design provided by a local florist,  accented with candle lit lanterns near the doorway. Once arrived there will be a sing -in in table for guest, name tags, information and business cards for the venue and our local non-profit organization Christine Creations will be donating to on the behalf of the launch party. The indoor space will display 3 designed table setting for different wedding and intimate event style. The Union HTX has a nice size patio area where I will showcase two of my favorite marriage proposal ideas to make the big question memorable and special! Each table and area will have fun facts/ideas,  design break down or style break down. I will partner with local rental companies and florist for the designs, local bartenders will serve 2 signature drinks throughout the night, a local chef will provide light appetizers throughout the night as well. This will be a come and go networking and showcase event. Oncc e guest leave they will take a small gift bag filled with a treat from a local baker and business cards for all vendors who participated in the grand opening event.

 

Tickets to the event will be donation based and all proceeds will be donated to The American Civil Liberties Union of Texas, a national public interest organization devoted to the defense of the Bill of Rights. Guest can also enter for a raffle prize of a free date night and marriage proposal service.

My name is Micha, I am from Northern Michigan and I have 2 years experience in the industry as a Wedding Consultant. Throughout this course I have enjoyed learning about the industry and building my brand. My company, mr and me designs is still a dream but I am excited to put forth all the tools I have gained in my current position as a lead consultant. 

The event presented below is the mood board for the Celebration of Opening for mr and me designs. It will be a laid back celebration of collaboration, support, community,and love. Food will be appetizers and desserts and the bar will serve two signature cocktails. There will be live music and a silent disco. Door prizes and giveaways will complete the night of festivities!

I actually presented my project 4.16 in class prior to posting it. 

The anticipation for Antigua Carnival is on us.  The Carnival committee has started staging various events via FB and Instagram.  There’s even a FB page for folks planning on being there for the celebration to confirm their attendance.  On that very FB page, a teaser for a soft launch happening in June will be posted and at the soft launch we’ll be announcing the date of the Grand Opening and posting the date on the Carnival webpage. During the soft launch we’ll have give away items to get folks excited and talking about Events by Tammi J.  We’ll be giving out branded hand towels, sunblock and invitations to the actual grand opening happening at Shirley Heights on August 10, 2019 from 3pm to 6pm. Our mission statement will be posted and visible on huge poster boards for everyone to see our intentions for how we plan to start this business off right. Everyone attending the event will be encourage to sign in and leave their contact information for post event follow-ups.

Our target clients are middle class individuals  with discretionary income and those individuals that come home every year because that’s where family is and where they ultimately see themselves  in the long term.  In targeting those individuals, we will also be targeting their friends and family member’s as well who have the same traditions, goals, and value when it comes to enjoying life in Antigua.

The grand opening will have a few local vendors that will be working with and , giving prospective clients opportunity to sample their mouthwatering delectable foods.  . What is a party without music, especially y in Antigua.

CWEP Project 3 - Grand Opening

Hello, my name is Patricia Lewis and I am excited to present project 3 the grand opening of my business. The Next Level team will represent vendors in the wedding and event planning industry at expos and trade shows by designing and manning dynamic booths on their behalf. Our mission is to execute the highest standards of quality in everything that we do treating the client's company as if it were our own. Our values are integrity, excellence and excitement.

Seeing a need and filling it was a big motivator in developing my business concept. Most shows are held on the weekend which is the busiest time of the week for vendors. They are often providing services and can not participate due to schedule conflicts or lack of manpower. Not being available means missing out on potential new clients and business leads. That's where Next Level steps in to fill the gap. Our services begin with a free consultation with the vendor followed by a planning meeting to determine the design concept desired.

I have really enjoyed completing project 3. It has caused me to think outside of the box. Taking the CWEP course has stretched my thinking and increased by knowledge of the the many professional directions there are to take in the industry. It is the beginning of a new chapter for me.

I have spent my working years thus far as a mental health worker and a teacher which have both been very rewarding. However, I am elated for the opportunity to delve into another arena where I can further tap into my creative side yet continue to collaborate with people from many different walks of life.
