Hey Y'all!

My name is Maria Peerenboom and I am from Nashville, Tennesse! I am SO excited to be apart of this Wedding Planner course. I have always dreamed of becoming a wedding planner and now I am making that dream a reality. I am naming my company Happily Ever Afters and my mission is to help each couple create a beautiful day that will be the start of their happily ever after. I love organizing and planning events and building relationships with others, so I am ecstatic to enter into the wedding business.

I have created a mood board for project 1.3. I have loved working on this project. It was so fun to look at all the elements that go into creating a beautiful wedding, the 8A's were very helpful to learn about. Focusing on the couples vision is key.

For this project, the couple wanted a spring romantic wedding. The wedding will take place in May in Nashville. The beautiful couple wanted a blush color scheme. They wanted their wedding to encompass the happiness that they bring to each others lives. They wanted others to experience and be apart of their special day. That is why they have a twinkly light photo booth for people to take pictures of and remember this special day. Their favor is also a plant that their guests can take with them and plant in their own gardens, so love continue to bloom. It was also important that their guests felt welcomed which is why they had the welcome sign be the first thing their guests see. The centerpieces, accessories, cake accents, and bridesmaids dresses are all blush to add to the romantic feel. The flowers that are used as centerpieces and bouquets are light and romantic. This couple was so happy with the final product!
