CWEP Project 2

Posted By Natalia Rodríguez, Thursday, April 16, 2020

Hi! I'm Natalia and I'm from Puerto Rico! I've always had a passion for event planning and I thought that Lovegevity had an amazing course and I'm happy I'm taking it right now because it has taught me very valuable assets that I can later implement in my future career.

I really enjoyed project 2! I made my own business card, which I think will help me get more clients. I believe it's important to create an aesthetically pleasing business card because people love that and it can attract new customers. Additionally, I made my wedding service packages, I created social media usernames, created the bridal profile, and made a wedding checklist. All of these things are important for any event planning business!

This project is about marketing your business and providing the best services you can to a potential new client or an existing client.

Project two

Posted By Janice Alphonso, Sunday, August 12, 2018

Good evening!,

My name is Janice Alphonso and I am studying to become a certified wedding planner.  The second project is designed to sell the services that my business offers to potential brides through words and description.  I had to really think what I want my business to represent and accomplish after I meet with a potential client. I described the company and outlined the  packages, "Day of Contract", pricing, cancelation policy, as well as possible worksheets a bride can use along her magical journey to wedded bliss.

Thank you

Ajoyo

Posted By Sierra Singleton, Friday, July 21, 2017
My name is Sierra and I am 31 from Morgantown West Virginia. I really enjoyed working on this project. My business is called Ajoyo. It is my vision of a premier full service event and wedding planning company. My color scheme is pink and gray. My mood board incorporates the stargazer lily and some baby's breath because that is the name of some of the wedding packages Ajoyo offers its clients. My mood board also has a picture of a bride in an unconventional wedding dress because that is my target audience. I hope Ajoyo appeals to the unconventional, unique, out-of-the-box thinking bride that wants to be cutting edge but also budget friendly.

Project #2- The Event Diva

Posted By Karr Stewart, Wednesday, May 3, 2017

Hello!

My name is Karr Stewart and I live in Irving, Texas. I will be starting my event planning business in June and is super excited about my new chapter in life! I'm married with a 13 year old son and a 20 year old daughter who's getting married in October. I have been doing events basically at every job I held and really enjoyed it. I mostly have conducted corporate events but in the last 3+ years picked up weddings and love it! I really enjoy helping people with happiness and going in the event planning business fit what I am trying to achieve. I really enjoy planning outdoor country, rustic, vintage, shabby type weddings. I think natural outdoor sceneries are soooo pretty, elegant and require less décor. I plan on opening my own event center something different like a barn, farmhouse or colonial style. Just want to crate a different space that people searching for a event center would be able to create their own space with in my space. I am looking forward to diving into this industry!

Project 2

Posted By Coreena Altig, Sunday, April 2, 2017
This project was a lot faster to put together than the first. I just got a MacBook and had a grand ole time trying to figure out how to use pages after using Microsoft my entire life!! Once I got used to it though Pages was so much easier to use. Minus that minor setback I really enjoyed this project and am grateful for the opportunity to learn how to use my MacBook.

Project 2 - Selling Your Services

Posted By Jendayi Setorie-Collingwood, Tuesday, November 22, 2016
This project and all of its corresponding assignments were extremely tedious but very necessary.  It was nice to have some knowledge of the ground work that it takes to really start a wedding planning business.

Project #2

Posted By Koren Merrill, Wednesday, June 1, 2016

This project was definitely a more difficult one for me! It was cool to see it all come together at the end, but it definitely was time consuming. I also felt very odd at first writing up a contract because it's so strange to see the business that I have always wanted start to come to life. The concept of writing a contract has really put in perspective how much work is really put into making sure the your business can't fall at fault for anything.

I enjoyed this project a lot. I especially enjoyed that it made me have to think about what I services I wanted to offer. I enjoyed having to come up with the different packages. I liked that it made us come up with a cancellation policy now to make it easier for us in the future.
