My name is Sierra Ostergaard and I am 20 years old! I was born and raised in Orem, Utah but have moved around the country due to my husband being in the Army. Project 3

Posted By Jennifer Nunez, Saturday, January 5, 2019
Hello everyone, Jennifer Nunez here again. I completed project 3. I really enjoyed putting this project together, because it's fun creating something that's not there yet but at least there's an idea on what you would like to do. This project shows at least an image of what type of events I'll like to do. Which was very interesting to me because I never knew I would like something elegant or big and nice but I really enjoyed this. This is my idea of how ill have my grand opening.

Project # 3

Posted By Sully Arias-Serna, Friday, November 30, 2018

Project 3 allowed to fully prepare for my business launch. It helped me begin to consider how I can plan an event that represents my business and my brand. It was different type of event since I am designing my visions and expectations, as oppose to design for a clients vision.

Corks and Confetti event planning is proud to be hosting our Champagne launch party this coming January 2019.

Join us while and enjoy refreshment, snacks, live entertainment and much more. While we get to demonstrate how we can make your future events personalize and unique.

CWEP Project 3

Posted By Claudia Boateng, Tuesday, October 23, 2018

Greetings! My name is Claudia Boateng and I am a Chicago native with a deep love of the arts and wedding fanatic. My grand opening was a throwback party dedicated to the 90's era, all design aspects included 90’s memorabilia ranging from famous and iconic couples to favorite movies and TV stars. Here is excerpt of my press release:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Get to know the newbies on the planning block. Poetik Events is hosting a one of kind grand opening and we want you to come out and meet your new planning dream-team. We are pleased to invite all the Chicagoland locals from to come out for a fun night of dinner, dancing and reawakening your nostalgia from the past.My experience taking this course was the perfect boot camp that shaped up my business and writing skills. It has been a very intuitive fall session as I have learned so much from my wonderful instructor Desiree Dent. I have had the opportunity to meet some wonderful ladies in my class that I believe will do great things in the future. For project three I wanted to host a grand opening for my company that not only showcases my services and blueprint of my company but also my design concepts and decor plans once I start to build clientele.

Updated: Monday, October 8, 2018

Hello, my name is Megan. For my third and final project, I launched my business "The Stuart Co.Events." Our grand opening event was titled, "Rolling on the Rivers." I am from the Pittsburgh area, and Pittsburgh's known for our three rivers. The idea behind the event was to take a dinner/river cruise around the city, meet potential clients/vendors, and tell them about my new business. I had a lot of fun creating this project. It really brought the vision that I have for my company to life. Through this course, I have learned a lot of valuable information that will most definitely go to use!

Janice Alphonsso Event Planning and Design Grand Opening

Posted By Janice Alphonso, Tuesday, August 21, 2018

Good morning!

I am so happy to reached this day (it's also my birthday).  The course was very interesting and I loved making new friends. I was challenged to be a better event planner by following the guidelines explained through the text.  Thank you Lovegevity for the opportunity to become a better planner.

Project three required I present my company's Grand opening. I decided to partner with C.A.M.BA to have a free Bridal Brunch where 20 brides would come and meet awesome vendors and learn how to begin the process of wedding planning.  To show the brides how one color palette can transcend different themes I decided to decorate three tables using yellow, white and black as an accent color.  The ladies will be greeted by a harpist playing my favorite wedding song "Thinking Out Loud", by Ed Sheeran, a red carpet lined with large white balloons representing peace.  The brides will leave with great giveaways and prices from a raffle.  The proceeds from the raffle will buy toiletries for the Atlantic Men's Shelter. Also, the students who attend C.A.M.B.A will intern with us for the day and will be given the opportunity to attend future workshops.

I enjoyed working on the design of the project, but I wish I had started the first week of class and continued to modify it before I submitted the final project.
