CWEP Project 2

Posted By Adriana Jimenez, Saturday, May 4, 2019

Hello again!  My name is Adriana Jimenez and this is my Project 2.

I have been working on this project every chance I get so I can finally finish all of my projects and get my Certification.  It has been hard getting started, but once I'm on a roll, it all falls into place.

My project is Selling Your Services.  I created a presentation which will show the client the types of services our company, A & A Weddings and Events, offers. I have also included the price for each type of service and what the 3 service packages plus the "Day Of" service package include.  We also offer a DIY Class as a special service to our clients.  We will be designing centerpieces and other wedding or event decorations for the DIY clients out there.  My daughter and business partner, Alexa and I have always loved creating and we would love to pass that service on to all our clients who are looking for a more personal touch to their special day.

I have created a mood board that represents the color palette that I have chosen for our business brand.  I have also included our company logo and a link to my mock website to give you an idea of what I'd like our website to look like when we finally launch our business.  I have chosen pale blue, soft rose, mint green, sand and gray colors and a pleasant font for our logo and website.  I hope you all like it. https://sites.google.com/view/aaweddingsandevents/home

On to my final project!

This is my Project #2! It made me realize how much foundation really needs to happen in order to open up your own wedding planning business. It made me sit down and go through and fill out and make forms that I will need for my business and it was super rewarding once it was all completed!

Project # 2

Posted By Sully Arias-Serna, Saturday, November 3, 2018

This project helped me structure all my scattered business ideas, and provided me with a better understanding on what to direction when starting a business. It made me realize there are a lot of details I still to need to consider. The assignment over all was an excellent first step to help organize and develop my business ideas.

Hello everyone! My name is Andrea Wilke and I am the owner of Andrea Dawn Events. While working towards my certification in wedding and event planning, I've really learned not only about the industry, but myself. I've learned how passionate I truly am about my work and I've loved every step of the way. I was really excited to finally start putting together a contract. It was finally getting... real!

Project 2

Posted By Michelle Riedel, Saturday, July 22, 2017
My name is Michelle Riedel of Dream Daze Weddings + Events. My wedding planning and coordination business will serve most of the DFW Metroplex and eventually expand throughout Texas and start including destination weddings services. We are currently at the halfway point in the course and this project was fantastic to create. It was phenomenal to finally start putting some structure to our business and see it start coming to life. My project includes about myself and my company, the potential clients I am trying to reach, my services that I will provide and some added extras that my clients will benefit from that I have put together to make the process as easy as possible for them.

Project 2: Selling your services

Posted By Melissa A. Talavera, Thursday, April 13, 2017

Project 2 was a challenge nonetheless a great and much needed learning experience.  Extensive research was put in place in order to know what kind of contract, packages and prices you will provide to your potential client. It was great to get a feel on the services you would like to provide and the requirements needed in order to run your business.

Our goal at Events with Love is to help style, guide and plan towards your perfect memories through the love we have for every event. No matter how moderate or luxurious the occasion it will be treated with love!

Looking forward to the future!

This project was far best my favorite project so far. It took many hours of effort and work but it was all well worth it. I already had visions on how and what I wanted my business to be, but this really pushed me into more creativity and made everything come together. Who ever came up with this project, thank you because it has opened my eyes alot. I hope you enjoy my project. Thank you so much!!

I did not realize just how detailed this course would be. My biggest set back in the industry was starting my business. I didn't know where to begin. Now I know how to price, how to write proper contracts, and much more. My timelines and checklists are fine tuned and I am all-in-all 100 times more confident about my business.

Project Two

Posted By Michala  Taylor, Tuesday, August 2, 2016

Project Two seemed overwhelming when it was originally presented to us. However, once I dove into the project, I understood completely why there were so many requirements. Throughout the process of this project, I was really able to envision my business. This project helped me to compile all of the information regarding my business into one cohesive work. Now I feel more confident about my business and will feel better when presenting my information to a potential client.

I enjoyed this project as it really helped me put together all necessary files and information for my new business. Creating packages for my future clients was a fun task, it really made me think about what I wanted to offer. It is exciting to be one step closer to bringing my business to life. I am really looking forward to working with new clients being really prepared for their needs.

#CWEP #PROJECT2

THIS PROJECT TAUGHT ME HOW TO DREAM..HOW TO DREAM WHAT I WANT AND HOW I CAN GET THERE. THIS CLASS IS HELPING ME SO MUCH AS FAR AS HOW TO WEED THROUGH ALL OF THE DETAILS AND STAY FOCUSED ON THE END GOAL.

PROJECT TWO REALLY BREAKS DOWN THE TINY DETAILS OF WEDDING ROLES AS WELL AS THE PROCESS ON HOW TO GET A LEGITIMATE MARRIAGE LICENSE.

Project 2: Selling Your Services

WOW!  What an eye opening project.  So many details.  So much to consider. It really helped me to take an introspective look at how I'd like my business to unfold and operate.  What is my niche?  Who is my client? And honestly why am I doing this.  It  has made me question myself and what I deem important as I navigate through this journey.  Gaining knowledge about the marriage license process was enlightening.  Developing packages and pricing was empowering as well.  What is my worth?  Overall I enjoyed, but again a true challenge.
