This was a great project, but if We didn’t have to do all these online requirements it will be so much easier it is very stressful The students need more than 10 weeks to complete everything.

Lotus Wedding & Event Planning is having their Grand Opening. It'll be in New York, NY. I'm SO excited to announce the grand opening of our wedding and event planning company! This is one event you won’t want to miss!

Being in this course, I've learned a lot about myself and how important it is to have efficient communication with people. I've also come to appreciate the little things that make an event more memorable. It's so interesting to think how a certain type of fabric or if there's natural lighting versus artificial lighting, could greatly change the feel of an event.

For project three, I decided to be a little creative and incorporate a couple things that you might not see together. I wanted to appeal to all the senses in this Grand Opening and treat it as if it were an event I'd be doing for a client. This will be my first business so I want to make sure everything is perfect!

Grand Opening of Queen For A Day Event Planning!

 I'm Jennifer Carlson and live in McKinney, TX.  Below is a mock grand opening, but hopefully I'll have a similar real grand opening when the time comes to kick off my business.  

 

This course has been really eye opening for me and so much fun!  I love my instructor.  She's so down to earth with us and shares her experience in a way we can relate.  The book and assignments serve as a good guide for us.  They are challenging at times, and always take longer than I think!

Queen For A Day is having a grand opening and we want you to come out and visit us.  We offer event planning services for most types of events, including quinceaneras, "day of" coordination, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, family reunions and corporate events.

Hi, I am Elisa. I have learned a lot about packages, press releases, and making a website. It's great to see everything come together.

I am presenting  White Crane Events Grand Opening.  A bridal vendor, florist, balloon designer and caterer will be present for a Champagne Brunch at The Cotton Mill  in McKinney, TX.  It will be a day of fun with a raffle for free engagement packages, floral arrangements, balloon designs. Donations for Allen Community Outreach Food Pantry will be matched.

CWEP Project 3 Grand Opening

Hello everyone.  I have completed my study program and my last project for Lovegevity.  For my Project 3 Grand Opening I have planned an afternoon event at one of our local venues.  It is a popular spot for wedding ceremonies, receptions and even engagement parties and rehearsal dinners.  

Due to this being a newer venue, they were willing to work with me on price as this will also be a promotion for their business.  They will promote my event for me on their social media as well as on their website.

I have a local caterer providing heavy horsdorves, champagne, wine and a dessert bar for my guests.  I have a travel agent coming to give away a discount on a honeymoon package as well as other vendors to set up tables with information for my guests.  A photographer will photograph the event for me.  I have a harpist set to play.

This project has been good for me to think about a cohesive plan to launch my business.  I had not planned to actually do this since I have already been working as a planner, but after doing the project I may do something similar to this plan as a marketing boost.  I think it could really help build my name, reputation and clientele.

Hearts Desire Events was founded in 2019 by Sandy Akard.  Sandy has a passion for hospitality, creativity and attention to details.  Sandy has designed and planned various weddings, parties, and fundraising events over a span of about 20 years.  She has held many positions of leadership that involved team building, organizational skills, and serving with excellence. Bringing all of those together called for a career in event planning, coordinating, and design. Sandy has received her certification through Lovegevity Wedding Planning Institute.  As a certified event planner, Sandy's goal is to bring your dreams to reality.

Project 3 - Grand Opening!

Hi Everyone - This is Ro McNally and I am happy to back covering the Grand Opening of Copper Bell & Co. Event Planning.  Our event will be at a beautiful lakeside winery for an upbeat, casual affair.  We have set the date for September 7th, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. est.  We will entice our attendees with wine & cake tasting that has a pragmatic business side, i.e. both the wines and cakes will be provided by, well researched, vendor partners. We also have a florist joining us who will be crafting small bouquets for interested guests, and who is providing floral arrangements for our raffle. Each guest will get a raffle ticket for every canned food/non-perishable item they bring for a chance at a flower arrangement or bottle of wine raffled off during our event. All donations are being given to a local charity who provides for people in need.  These vendor partnerships will create exposure for all parties and continue to grow our business relationships. We will be sharing tips & tools (high level wedding planning calendars; wedding party checklists) for all interested guests, and will, of course, be capturing all our guests contact information for follow up!   We have invited people who have attended recent regional bridal expos, as well as several members of our business community and the media.  This has been a great project to incorporate all the learning throughout this course, topped up with some fun. Grand Opening for Events and Beyond by Sarah Dawn

Grand Launch of Reveka Concepts…An Event Management Company

We at Reveka Concepts are beyond excited to announce the grand launch of our wedding and event planning company which will kick off with an evening of Glitz, Glamour and Grandeur. My name is Yetunde Ayeni. I currently run Reveka Concepts but we focus on planning and designing children parties, so I decided to take this course to be a Certified Wedding planner and thus expand my business. My experience in this cause has been incredible as I have acquired a whole wealth of knowledge from the information available, I have also learnt to use various tools like Canva and Wix which have aided my creative output. I feel very equipped now to expand my business as a Wedding planner.

This assignment is about the Launch of Reveka Concepts, I have tagged it the 3G Event as it will be an evening of Glitz, Glamour and Grandeur.The decoration will consist of elegant tablescapes, floral designs and candles that truly sparkle. CWEP - Project 3: Grand Opening

This project was the most interesting in my opinion because I got to think about different things that I would do if this was my personal grand opening event. It allowed me to show my vision for this type of event. Having a designing business would be a dream come true because it’s my passion and I’ve always wanted to do something special for people. So, our mission is to provide our clients with the services needed to produce the most memorable and dream-worthy event no matter how big or small. No matter what the client’s style or vision is, we will work to ensure that their event is everything you hoped for and more. 

For the event, I have several ideas that I wanted to include, but I had to be realistic. So, my goal was to display our talents and pair it with a fun and relaxed environment. For anticipation, I loved the idea of posting flyers on social media and hand delivering some because it shows that we are in tune with social media, while adding a personal and old fashion touch. For the arrival and atmosphere, I wanted to have a fun and exciting environment from start to finish. I also wanted to be able to showcase our talents along with the other vendors that we are working with for the evening. For amusement, to keep this fun and exciting atmosphere, I thought giving everyone the opportunity to win prizes would be an added bonus. For those who don’ t win a gift, they will still be given a souvenir for attending the event.   

My hope for this event was to share our future vision for our company and how we planned to get there. Not only is everyone there a potential client or business partner but are a part of our brand. They are contributing to our brand image that we are setting for everyone else to see. We are a company that consists of talented individuals and that may not be offered by other companies. Our clients are our main priority and we take pride in the relationships that we create with them. We get to know them and their interests in order to provide them with their dream event no matter what services we are providing them with.   

A positive image is what we want to have in the public eye, and we plan to do this through getting to know our clients and donating to our community. Events By Eriqa donates to a number or charities and organizations in the Richmond area to help those who are in need. Not only is this how we approach the concept of donating, but this is how we approach our clients as well. We believe in providing the service to ensure that we make their dreams a reality.

My name is Daniel Harari and I am 21 years old, I was born in Israel and raised in NJ, I currently live in NYC.

 

I started the course in hope of achieving my goals and reaching my dreams of becoming a wedding/event planner. I am so grateful to say that under the leadership and guidance of my teachers I know how to keep my commitments to my clients and how to correctly run my future company.

I have realized a whole new creative side of myself and can’t wait to explore it more.

Throughout the course something came across my path, the thought that a possible consequence could have been that I was not going to be able to finish this course, I realized how much I really wanted this. I am proud to say that I have pushed through and I have committed to completing the course no matter what.

My name is Sierra Ostergaard and I am 20 years old! I was born and raised in Orem, Utah but have moved around the country due to my husband being in the Army. I met my husband in high school and got married in 2017! I planned my whole wedding and made it a dream come true and that's what inspired me to become a wedding planner and follow my dreams!


This course has taught me a lot about business and how to properly run things. I've learned a new creative side to me that I didn't fully know of before!

I cannot believe that the program is almost finished! The courses are very informative and practical. I have never expected that there are so much to learn about wedding planning industry. In retrospect of the assignments and projects I have completed, I feel so thrilled that I have really internalized the knowledge and applied it into practice. 

In the final project, I integrated knowledge from different sections of the course and I can feel that, compare to the Project #1, I can use the knowledge and skills more proficiently. Thanks for the perfectly set curriculum. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who would like to have a deeper understanding of the wedding planning industry and start their own business as a wedding planner.

Brittany Radish opens B-Rad Weddings & Celebrations to offer planning services to couples with a Champagne taste on a beer budget. Milwaukee, WI— January 30, 2019—Brittany Radish, a certified professional wedding planner, has opened a planning service business in Milwaukee where she strives to make individuals events, “B-Rad, B-Memorable & B-Yours.”

I have really enjoyed this course; it has solidified my desire to become a certified wedding planner! There were many topics/ discussions that sparked ideas and creativity for me in my career and I look forward to watching this future career endeavor blossom.

For this final project, I planned the grand opening event for B-Rad Weddings & Celebrations. Brooklyn, NY- With over 3 years of experience Leandra McCall of LJM Consultings announces the formal launch of her wedding and event company. Hello my name is Tineka Keeton and i am currently studying Wedding and Event Planning in Richmond VA. I am so happy that i have completed this project as it is the last one out of the 3 projects we have had to complete. I enjoyed putting this project together as it has given me ideas for my future business plan. I love the fact that we had to include an idea/way that helps give back to the community.

Hi, My name is Phoebe and for Project 3, I am hosting a grand opening event for my party planning business. The event is held at the MGM National Harbor in June 2019. The theme is very bold and elegant at the same time. This event will be at night and is very formal so guests are asked to dress accordingly. It will be a night to remember with delicious food, open bar, and dancing.

Taking this class has been a great experience. I have learned a lot that I have not known before or have gained knowledge of what I already knew. I am excited for my future in event planning and to find out all the different opportunities I can receive. I recommend taking this class to anyone that wants to start or continue in the wedding and event planning industry.

Plano, Texas July 10, 2019 Chanelled It! Events announces the opening of their Dallas, TX  based event planning business opening August 7, 2019.


My experience is this course has been rewarding but extremely challenging. I decided to take this course with an already full load and there were times it was very overwhelming but I have learned so much valuable information. I was fortunate to have a great instructor who is extremely knowledgeable and super supportive of her students. She brought in amazing speakers and took us on some awesome vendor visits. Our class had an amazing group and we developed a special connection with each other. I an so glad I decided to take this course, I have no regrets.


Project 3 is my Grand Opening event. For this event I not only wanted to focus on my business opening but I wanted it to focus on community engagement as well. I wanted this to be a fun way to connect with my community, potential clients and vendors. The color scheme is rose, navy and gold. The event is a Sip & See and guest will partake in a sweet a savory menu. In addition there will be a local female DJ, caricature artist, giveaways and much more. Each guest will be asked to bring a canned good to donate to the local food bank and the money from the raffle will be donated to two other local charities.  To make it memorable and special, there are several favors for the guests which include, a candy bar, custom champagne bottles and goodie boxes. I look forward to seeing this event unfold.

Say Oui To Me grand opening.

Our compagny is specialized in destination weddings for couples who have always dreamed of getting married in France. Our human-sized, dynamic and creative agency will share its savoir-faire and expertise to allow any couple to find their happiness .

My partners and I are comming to New-York to visit our future clients.

CWEP Project 3- Grand Opening!

Hello everyone! My name is Carmen Rosales, I am from LA California. I have been working in the legal field for over 10 years and although I don't hate my job, I also don't love it. I have always felt that I have so much creativity and I'm the first to jump in when it comes to planing any event or party. I was so happy to find this course, and nowI am almost finished and hope to be a certified wedding and event planner, very shortly! 

Through this course, I learned about the strong work ethic needed to be an event planner. I gained so much insight from the material and lectures provided by the instructors. The biggest takeaway for me was realizing what a huge network the wedding and event planning industry is, Im excited to jump in and start my own company.  My hope is to help couples realize the wedding/event of their dreams and to ease the stress of having to worry about throwing an epic party. M y other passion in life is traveling (currently uploading from FIJI!!) So, I'd also like to explore joining my two passions and dabble into destination weddings. Dream Team Productions is a firm believer in giving back to the communities in which it operates, and to this end supports a number of local charities, I'd like to help couples who are less fortunate as well as provide charity work , perhaps in helping plan events at local schools and/or church and community centers. 
 
Dream Team Productions, will be hosting their grand opening ceremony on April 30, 2019 at a wholesale flower warehouse in North Hills, CA.  Proceeds from the event will go to benefit "Dresses fir All Brides", s charity that provides beautiful gowns to brides who don't have the budget to treat themselves to a gown.

This project was by far my favorite! Not only did this activity pump me up for the future but it made me know that this is exactly what I want to do. I want to make peoples dreams become a reality, I want o help execute any ideas that they may not think possible.This was an amazing experience I cant wait!

Grand Opening Project 3

For project three I am launching my business called Marcela Events. I will create a one of a kind event for every client. Press, vendors and potential clients will be invited to an industrial glam and wine tasting party at a local winery.  The Grand Opening will have a magician as entertainment, there will be two guest speakers who are influencers and founders of the non-profit organizations I am planning to help with fundraising events coordination. I will have a raffle and at the end of the evening guests will take home a party favor.

This course has been such an amazing journey. The Grand Opening project has been my favorite, because its almost real! I was exciting when working on my website, and mood board as if I was actually hosting a Grand Opening party on April 10th! 

 

In my mood board you will notice a 1920s speakeasy vibe. I wanted my grand opening to be fun, intimate, and elegant. Speakeasy was such a perfect theme. We have created specialty cocktails, and will bring in  a vintage photo booth to reflect the vision.
