This project was a ton of fun ! My name is Jasmine Lyons, im 28 years old, and originally from California. I have loved wedding and event planning as long as i can remember, but never thought i could actually fully pursue it. so this project gave me a much needed boost of confidence. I had the pleasure of putting together a dream wedding for our clients, the soon to be Mr and Mrs Sean Jenkins. Sean and Stacy have quite the story 1 These two lovebirds are originally from Long Beach, CA, where they met in the 9th grade. They both played varsity basketball, and went off to college, with Stacy going abroad, to play basketball in Spain. Ultimately causing causing them to separate temporarily. They both dated other people, but kept in contact as often as they could. A few months into their senior year of college, Sean surprised Stacy on holiday break when she returned home. He took her on a hike, where unexpectedly he would propose with a beautiful 2 carat, pink princess cut diamond ring. Of course Stacy was shocked, ecstatic, and happily agreed And being that they both LOVE the outdoors, they already had plenty of ideas to work with. Their theme was "Down to Earth", paired beautifully with green and tan groomsmen suits and bridal gowns, neutral earth tones in all decor and flowers. Formal save the date invitations for the engagement party were sent out to 50 of the couples closest family and friends. with the wedding taking place in mid July, weather will be absolutely perfect, as convertibles will surely be a necessity for the happy couples arrival/departure. Their wedding will take place in Los Angeles, at the Elizabeth Lake Country Club, outdoors, beneath the beautiful trees and heavy string lights and lanterns. Their menu consists of a pasta inspired action station as well as a carving station, and salad bar. The reception, also on site, will be accompanied by an open bar, and an awesome dance floor, being kept alive by a rockin DJ ! After the first dance, Sean surprises Stacy with a dance routine, made up completely of him and his groomsmen. These 2 sure know how to party ! we had a blast as proceedings began to close out, and the happy couple drove off--to the airport, for their Fijian honeymoon !
Congrats Sean and Stacy !
