CWEP Project 1 Blog

Posted By Minal Shah, Saturday, March 9, 2019

My name is Minal Shah and I am from Dallas, TX. I am from Information Technology background and always kept on asking self if this is what I want to do and when I came across this course, I said to my self I should do this! I am always being creative and passionate about making something new. So I thought I should consider getting certified. I would love to plan events, create amazing decors and gifts and ultimately make it memorable.

My experience in this course has been  amazing as it touches all the aspects of planning. Although it is intense it is fun and help me realise that this is what I would like to do.

The project I am presenting is a rich grand wedding in a resort and the expected number of people are around 2000. Wedding ceremony would be among close friends and family. For reception they would invite all others which would be outside on the lawn. Colors chosen are red, golden, silver and orange.

hi my name is amya Johnson. I just had to leave a comment of this beautiful project. let me be the first to say that representation and diversity In the wedding planning industry is a must its not often we see brown people on the covers of wedding magazines its not often we see peoples cultures on the cover. being black myself I've made it my goal to brig my cultural values to the fore front I think that you showing us a beautiful Indian wedding is absolutely inspiring and amazing.
