Greetings! My name is Maggie Zeman, creator of PearlZ & Petals Events. I began in corporate America as an I.T. professional supporting a multitude of software packages. I planned family and friend events as a side business. This is where I found the most joy and passion in the tiniest of creative detail. It allowed my creative ability to shine. I have an eye for what works and ability to handle multiple tasks at once. I decided in 2018 that I wanted to be paid fair market value for the services provide. I decided to become certified in Wedding and Event Planning through Lovegevity University and began my business. I believe that continuing education, it is the key to success. You should never stop learning! Giving back is important to my philosophy of life, you are what you sow.
Where will you find me?
My website will be https://www.pearlZ&petalsevents.com, and email address will be info@pearlZ&petalsevents.com.
Bridal fairs will be my venues for meeting speaking with potential clients, including networking with new/existing vendor relationships.
Social media will be the majority of my initial plan to reach new clients, Facebook, Pinterest, Linked In and Snapchat.
I will blog throughout the week by selecting one of my key platforms for 45 minutes a day to post and communicate.

PearlZ & Petals Events Goals:
Within the first years of business, wanting to secure at least four events, two of them weddings with the other two being corporate events. To expand every year adding additional weddings and events. Continue in my education and provide mentoring to those that are working for me. Set up a nonprofit organization to help abused and/or trafficked people because no person should be treated less.
Within five years to continue to add to staff and become a company that has an esteemed reputation in the Chicagoland suburbs for clients as well as employees. To move from a sole proprietorship to an LLC. Continue in my education, mentoring, expand mentoring program to include long time employees mentoring new hires and aid employees to continue their education. That the nonprofit organization is established and recognized.
Ten years from now, I want to expand my brand to include catering and bartending, photography/videography, hair and makeup, floral, attire, accessories, bands and/or DJs, stationary, transportation, rentals, relationship counseling, officiating and travel for a destination or honeymoon. A one stop shop for all of your party needs. Again, continue in my education and mentoring, make sure new hires are being mentored and further expand employee opportunities to continue their education. That the nonprofit organization is established and operating as its own entity.
