CWEP Project 1

Posted By Elizabeth Namkung, Wednesday, October 28, 2015

Madelyn and John met in 2008 as undergraduate students while attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  For their dream wedding in June of 2016, they have selected the location of the bride’s hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina.  The colors they have selected for their special day are champagne, gold, blush, pink, and white. They want a wedding that is a perfect combination of southern tradition, elegance, romance, and glamour!

In order to incorporate southern tradition, the ceremony will take place in a religious chapel setting with traditional white columns on the exterior and a long center aisle inside.  The bride will wear a cathedral length veil and ballgown. A traditional southern bridal portrait will be on display at the reception. Elegance and romance will be incorporated through the use of votives and blush, pink, and white flowers at both the ceremony and reception venues. The bride’s crystal drop earrings and ivory pumps with crystal brooch, as well as the reception venue’s crystal chandeliers are just some examples of the glamorous added touches that this wedding and reception will have. Following the A8 wedding planning format, this project uses local, award-winning vendors.

This project was so fun and enlightening to create! The Google Presentations version of this project can be found at this link:
