Hi Everyone, my name is Omodolapo, but everyone calls me Dolly. I live in Chicago and I have a great passion for arts and crafts, planning, making others smile and creating a memorable experience in everything I do. While trying to achieve my dream on becoming a certified wedding and event planner, I hope to encounter a life transforming experience which will enable me start an exciting and satisfying next chapter in my career. I knew little or nothing about wedding and event planning and in just few days of starting this course I have been able gain a lot of experience than I ever imagined.  I decided it was time to take this course because I have always been fascinated with the idea of fashion, weddings, floral designs, incredible work of art that’s being put in decorating masterpiece cakes and social gatherings. The goal is to achieve a wonderful career in wedding and event planning and hopeful someday own a business of mine.

For my first project, I am choosing to work with an interracial couple that are planning on getting married next summer. They are an amazing couple who enjoy the company of family and friends and would love to celebrate their joyous moment with their loved ones in the suburbs of Chicago. The bride has envisioned herself in a simple wedding dress and she has chosen the colors pink, white and Gold and all we are doing is helping her make a dream come true the way she envisioned it and hope the couple and their guests have a memorable day . They will be having a Nigerian traditional engagement, and The  formal wedding will hold at THE WINNETKA COMMUNITY HOUSE 620 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka, IL 60093.
