CWEP Project 1

Posted By Kayla Scheuer, Monday, January 8, 2018

Hi!

My name is Kayla. I'm from Pennsylvania, but I am currently living in Okinawa, Japan with my husband who is in the Marines. My goals for the future is to have an amazing business no matter where the military take us. Project one was informative and opened my eyes to how much really goes into planning a wedding. It was great experience and i can't wait to learn more about the industry!

I am planning a wedding for a couple in their early 20's and they want a rustic fall themed wedding. The color of the wedding will be wine red and light pink. It will be outside by a wheat field and the reception will be outside under the stars. Family is very important to the couple, so I tried to incorporate the family into to the wedding as much as possible. The bride insisted that there would be a Smore's bar.

Dear Kayla:
This is great. I loved your ideas, color palette, and your overall concept. I think this business is great, if you really love being detailed oriented and are very organized. But, importantly, you have to love working with people and with a team. I wish you much success.
Sincerely,

Hi Kayla,

I love your mood board!! I'm a huge fan of the colors and feeling of fall weddings. I really like the way you pulled images together that have a casual and comfortable feeling. Sometimes it seems like a wedding with those strong colors can be very stuffy and formal- I like how you were able to make it feel comfortable. Great Job! Best of luck to you and your business endevors.

Kindly-
