Amy Wilson, owner of Wilson Event Design, is teaming up with some of Austin's best in the event industry to announce the Grand Opening of Wilson Event Designs. The event will take place on December 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Brazos Hall. The wonderful vendors to be featured include Brazos Hall, Monarch Event Rentals, The Peached Tortilla, Green Belt DJ, MoonLit Weddings Videography, and Angela Lally Photography!
Throughout the CWEP course I have learned so many things like how to start my business, how to market my business, how to attract clients, who my ideal client is, and how to effectively plan the best weddings and events! From our third project, I learned how to coordinate with vendors to execute a grand opening for my business, how to create marketing strategies, and how to effectively market my business in my community. I really enjoyed the marketing aspect of this project, because it is an area in which I felt lacking and now I feel so much more prepared!
For my Grand Opening project I chose to host the event at a local venue and style it as a wine and cheese pairing event. Engaged couples will learn what wines are best with specific foods, the top 5 wedding planning tips, and there will be one grand prize of a Full Wedding Planning package for one lucky bride and groom.
